04/10/2024: arrivando a gerace, chiediamo a due signori un luogo dove poter mangiare un gelato artigianale, e subito ci viene consigliato il “bar dolce e salato” dove dicono che sia il miglior gelato di gerace, arriviamo al bar e il titolare molto simpatico ci fa assaggiare pistacchio salato e zafferano, gelato FAVOLOSO, penso sia uno dei migliori gelati che io abbia mai assaggiato, prezzo molto onesto due coni 5 euro, per l’altissima qualita del gelato è veramente un prezzo molto onesto, vi consiglio vivamente questo posto.

11/05/2025: If you’re in Gerace, this place is a must-visit! The granita is absolutely amazing – fresh, full of flavor, and there’s a wide variety to choose from. You can even mix flavors like lemon, pistachio, rum, and chocolate – every combination we tried was fantastic.
I also tried the aperitivo platter once and can highly recommend it – delicious and nicely presented. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy some local specialties in a charming setting!

03/06/2025: When I go to lunch at Emmanuela's I feel like I'm at my cousin's house, a very warm and family atmosphere without forgetting the cuisine which is of quality with always fresh products from her vegetable garden...a pure moment of happiness for our taste buds...thank you to the team at A SQUELLA..A PRESTO

20/04/2025: Palazzo, very well located, enchanting setting, small downside, a great lunch was announced, it was a coffee croissant in the village bar.... the only accommodation on our trip where the nescafé replaced the capsule coffee machine and the small bottles of water had to be paid for... too bad.
18/12/2024: I had the pleasure of visiting this location on the occasion of an event dedicated to my work. Historic building in the historic center of Gerace, you arrive via the internal streets but I believe it can also be accessed by car, we had the pleasure of walking on foot and breathing in that enchanted air that accompanies you through the history of the city of 100 churches, Gerace.
Palazzo Candida is the flower of Gerace, welcoming and hospitable owners, a special place where you can spend a pleasant stay in this enchanted city.

30/05/2025: Very elegant bar in the heart of the village, next to the cathedral. Rich and tasty breakfast, good croissants and all the sweets. The smiling staff very kind, welcoming and polite. I highly recommend it.

03/09/2024: Non avevo grosse aspettative. Ero passato qualche giorno prima in pieno agosto ed avevo trovato il locale chiuso ma alla fine credo di aver mangiato proprio qui il piatto più buono di tutta la mia permanenza a Gerace, ovvero degli ottimi bocconcini di vitello con glassa di bergamotto e scaglie di parmigiano. Certo la logistica non è granchè dato che il locale è ubicato in un vicoletto in forte pendenza ma al Brillo Parlante ho trovato quello che cercavo ovvero una cucina tradizionale, semplice e ad un ottimo prezzo. Anche l'antipasto non era male.
29/08/2024: Consigliato da un signore del posto, abbiamo mangiato bene e speso adeguatamente: per 4 paste per bambini (in bianco o al sugo), 2 antipasti misti, 4 primi dal menù (notevole il ragu 3 gusti), un secondo di carne con contorno e acque in abbondanza abbiamo speso 118€. Concordiamo con le recensioni che parlano di servizio lento (totale 2 ore per la cena), ma tutto sommato locale consigliato

24/08/2024: Se sei in cerca dei sapori autentici della Calabria possibilmente in una bella location, qui c'è tutto ciò che desideri.
15/08/2024: Cena romantica in piazza della cattedrale. Abbiamo optato per un mix di assaggi locali e sono stati molto buoni e ben presentati. Gradevole l'ambiente. Servizio buono. Prezzo nella norma. Bravi
