18/10/2025: The best time I spent this summer in Calabria was definitely at this trattoria. They seated us without reservations and served the best dishes in our region. 21/09/2025: Only in places like this can you capture the true essence of Calabria. Excellent products, excellent goat, and the staff who served us were friendly and kind. Plus, the view overlooking the town and the Amendolea valley is spectacular.

23/09/2025: Best pizza for a long time, the base was fresh and tasty, plenty of juicy toppings on the pizza too. Cooked with fresh ingredients while we waited 😋😋 Can't wait to go back. Thanks for the huge pizza 🍕👍🙏

After a long, hot days sail we saw the Pizzeria Barrel wasn't too far from where we were anchored 🤔 We decided to get a pizza to eat on the boat ⛵. So glad we did for €14 we got a pizza that even the two of us found filling and Frittata as a side. The pizza was just what we needed, hot, a large size and delicious 😋😋 The toppings were fresh and just right and the base was amazing ♥️, the potato Frittata were hot and chunky, we couldn't finish them all to be honest.
The night before we set sail we went back for another pizza 🍕, we will definitely be back 👍

24/08/2025: I arrive and see a waitress eating a mixed fried food near the pizza oven. Everything is fine, nothing special. We sit down and order. No bread or breadsticks on the table. We wait for more than an hour. Finally, the pizzas and mixed fried food arrive. A friend even left almost the whole pizza. 4 mixed fried food portions are poor. Mine was actually half the size of the others. The location is nice, but it's better to have a dive with good food than a nice location with hunger and prices a little higher than the restaurants in the area (for the locals, you saw me once and you never saw me again).
22/08/2025: Excellent food, impeccable service, and a fresh, pleasant atmosphere. Recommended.

24/05/2024: Pranzo domenicale in compagnia di amici. Location molto votata alle cerimonie tipo battesimi e comunioni.
Nonostante ciò riescono a farci accomodare in un tavolo comodo e lontano dallo schiamazzo.
Tornando alle pietanze, menù fisso, sempre. antipasti abbondanti e di buona qualità, due assaggi di primi e un secondo a scelta(nel prezzo del menù vengono incluse anche le bibite).
Il personale di una gentilezza unica, disponibilissimi.
Consigliato per una domenica spensierata.

11/06/2025: Good pizza, quiet place. You can watch the pizza being made in a proper oven. Used only as takeaway. Waiting time was very short, around 10 minutes dor 3 pizzas.
