03/10/2025: We had Pizza Sapori della Sila and Pizza Frutti di mare. Both were generously topped and very, very tasty. The house white wine was also good. Service was quick. We'd be happy to go back.

15/09/2025: Among the best in the area, offering excellent value for money. Excellent cuisine with a healthy dose of Calabrian flair. The pizza is also good. In any case, you can tell they use high-quality ingredients and raw materials. The wine selection is also truly excellent.

27/12/2025: Truly remarkable. Top-quality food. Nice parking lot, convenient for both walking and driving.

26/09/2025: Disappointing experience. The second week of September, the Cirò Marina waterfront was completely deserted and all the restaurants were closed. Only Malibú was open, so we settled in for a few snacks and perhaps a drink of the renowned Cirò wine. We ordered a Cirò red wine, which was served at 38°C (98.4°F), explaining that "red doesn't go in the refrigerator." We agreed, but not even at 40°C (104.4°F). In fact, once opened, the wine had turned to vinegar, to which the owner explained, "We're not in the bottle of wine." In short, two embarrassing moments later, we insisted on having it returned and opted for beer. To our surprise, he didn't charge us for it. We were surprised, because the outlook was dire. Tourism in Calabria could boom if only the Calabrians were more hospitable, more friendly, and less Calabrian.

21/08/2025: A fantastic evening at Kalua Restaurant! We dined here as a family and had a truly wonderful time. Nicodemo, as always, was a guarantee of quality and friendliness, and his service was impeccable. The fish dishes were excellent, fresh, and expertly prepared; every bite was a unique tasting experience. The service from the ladies was fantastic, friendly, and efficient; they made our evening even more special. I highly recommend Kalua Restaurant to anyone looking for a high-quality experience and friendly service. A place where you can eat well and spend a pleasant evening with friends.

26/08/2025: We spent fourteen days at this residence, but unfortunately, we were very disappointed. Starting with the sewer smell in the room every day, which they explained to us was due to nearby drains (I would have liked to know this before arriving). The cleanliness of the rooms needs to be improved, the sheets sometimes had holes in them, and sometimes they weren't changed. The breakfast service was terrible for a 4-star hotel, so much so that we only used it for a few days, then we left. There's little supervision from the staff in general throughout the property. The location is beautiful, but poorly managed. Our holiday was saved by the lounge bar area, where we were pampered with delicious cocktails and platters. The staff were kind and super helpful. The beach is very beautiful, but in Calabria, when it comes to the sea, there's not much to say; it's a shame about everything else. It's a property we definitely won't return to.

25/08/2025: So, a hotel of this standard in terms of cleanliness disappointed me: dirty bathroom, fixtures full of limescale, closets full of dust. The owners were unfriendly, not at all sociable, never smiled, except for the daughter-in-law with the child who smiled and said hello. Then let's not even talk about the water at the table, which wasn't included. In no other hotel have I ever paid for water at the table. Are you kidding? Not even a jug. I will never return, without some entertainment, without a piano bar in the evening. The food was pretty good, but €2.50 for water with half board is unbearable. I was disappointed because it's a beautiful hotel with an excellent location, but it's not at all valued and is also expensive for the services it offers.

20/08/2025: I had dinner at this pizzeria with my partner. We ordered two fish starters, a fried calamari, shrimp, and anchovy dish, a French fry, wine, water, and liqueur—all very good. We'll be back to try the pizza, which we've heard is one of the best in the area.

18/08/2025: Truly brutal place, the staff should be changed jobs, rude, ill-mannered, ignorant, and the owner doesn't know how to manage. They made us wait 3 hours for food, and my dish never arrived, which I refused to eat given it was midnight! The bill was out of line, children were crying because they were hungry. The food was so bad, we spent so much, and after a 3-hour wait, I wouldn't set foot in there again.

14/09/2025: We were in Cirò Marina on vacation for a few days, and we couldn't miss this bar for breakfast every day. Excellent service, top-quality pastries and croissants, and the staff were very nice and friendly.

06/09/2025: We had breakfast at this pastry shop, but I expected more! The cappuccino was full of bubbles, and the pastries were nothing special.

17/08/2025: Good trattoria, prices a bit steep for the place. I'd spend €41 per person without dessert in Milan.

16/08/2025: TRATTORIA LUPEN!!!! I went with my wife tonight! We ordered a substitute first course consisting of paccheri with pistachio cream (it was definitely not from Bronte) and prawns! I was expecting fresh prawns, especially since the dish cost 20 euros, but alas, I found myself served frozen cocktail prawns! YOU ARE RUINING TOURISM IN CIRÒ! NEVER AGAIN!
