21/08/2026: A very positive experience. We arrived late in the evening, and despite the hour, they welcomed us without any problems and fed our entire family of five, including three little girls. The owner was truly welcoming and helpful, as were all the staff, who were kind and professional. The food was excellent, with generous portions and a truly excellent value. We have nothing to say other than compliments to everyone. A restaurant that deserves it, and we definitely recommend it!

13/04/2026: I stayed at this property during the Easter holidays, and it was excellent in every way. Located in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery, it's ideal for those seeking tranquility. This doesn't mean it's lacking in amenities, as Cirò Marina is literally a minute's drive away. The rooms are very clean and recently renovated, comfortable and welcoming, with large balconies overlooking the property's large garden. The owners are super kind and helpful. I texted them (while I was there) at 1 a.m. and they responded within minutes.

07/04/2026: A magical place located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Casale degli Ulivi is the perfect place to spend some relaxing time. Super clean rooms, exceptional staff. I highly recommend this place. I will definitely be back.

20/08/2026: Pizza by the slice, various flavors, plus fried panzerotti and more. Reservations are required or early evening if you want to find a selection of very good products.

28/06/2026: I arrived in Cirò Marina with a very specific mission: to find an excellent rosé from an independent producer and to eat authentic sardella. Two goals, one trattoria. At Max's, I told the chef what I was looking for, and within minutes, he made my dreams a reality. The result was a bruschetta I'll never forget: figs, provola cheese, raw shrimp, sardella, and a little salad for balance. A simple idea on paper, but one that showcased what's not surprisingly called the "caviar of Calabria." It was one of those dishes that makes you smile at the first bite. I think I'd been waiting for a lunch like this since I was a child, without even realizing it. All accompanied by an excellent local rosé, expertly recommended and perfect for completing the experience. If you're passing through Cirò Marina with a desire to savor local products interpreted with intelligence and without unnecessary complications, Max's is definitely worth a visit. For once my food hunt ended quickly!
