06/03/2026: I discovered this pizzeria a few years ago on the recommendation of friends, and it was truly a wonderful discovery.
Don't expect to enter a super-luxury place; here you enter and breathe in the nostalgic '80s; it's like stepping back in time. 🤩
Every time I pass through Cirò, I stop by. I won't tell you that the pizza is excellent, made with quality ingredients and a well-leavened dough—that would be superfluous—but I will emphasize the fact that the pizza is easy to digest, and above all, after several hours, you don't get that ravenous thirst that comes with an overly salty dough.
Highly recommended 😉

13/04/2026: I stayed at this property during the Easter holidays, and it was excellent in every way.
Located in a quiet area, surrounded by greenery, it's ideal for those seeking tranquility. This doesn't mean it's lacking in amenities, as Cirò Marina is literally a minute's drive away.
The rooms are very clean and recently renovated, comfortable and welcoming, with large balconies overlooking the property's large garden.
The owners are super kind and helpful. I texted them (while I was there) at 1 a.m. and they responded within minutes.
07/04/2026: A magical place located away from the hustle and bustle of the city, Casale degli Ulivi is the perfect place to spend some relaxing time.
Super clean rooms, exceptional staff.
I highly recommend this place.
I will definitely be back.

01/06/2026: A more expensive but delicious restaurant. Friendly, family-style service. I found the customer service positive. I took the pizza to go every year, lots of toppings, delicious, and highly recommended.
22/01/2026: Delicious thin-crust pizza, either a cartwheel or a contemporary version. I preferred the cartwheel with buffalo mozzarella and pistachios. It was delicious! Very nice place, friendly staff.

This time I had a misunderstanding with the owner. The food was truly awful and the price was exorbitant. The fish wasn't just frozen, it was actually rubbery.
I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

You can immediately sense that hospitality isn't just a gimmick here, but a genuine passion. The food was excellent – top-notch in terms of taste, fresh, and prepared with great care. The service was attentive, professional, and pleasantly personal. A truly harmonious experience. We will definitely be back and can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant.

26/09/2025: Disappointing experience.
The second week of September, the Cirò Marina waterfront was completely deserted and all the restaurants were closed. Only Malibú was open, so we settled in for a few snacks and perhaps a drink of the renowned Cirò wine. We ordered a Cirò red wine, which was served at 38°C (98.4°F), explaining that "red doesn't go in the refrigerator." We agreed, but not even at 40°C (104.4°F). In fact, once opened, the wine had turned to vinegar, to which the owner explained, "We're not in the bottle of wine." In short, two embarrassing moments later, we insisted on having it returned and opted for beer. To our surprise, he didn't charge us for it. We were surprised, because the outlook was dire. Tourism in Calabria could boom if only the Calabrians were more hospitable, more friendly, and less Calabrian.

12/05/2026: As for the order, it was wrong, the pizza was burnt, the service was poor, we waited half an hour for a glass of water even though it was a takeout pizza.
Not recommended, and the pizza chef forces customers. It happened to me that he asked me how much sauce I wanted and I said I didn't want it, and he said, "Come on, just a little bit," and I said I didn't want it.

16/08/2025: TRATTORIA LUPEN!!!! I went with my wife tonight! We ordered a substitute first course consisting of paccheri with pistachio cream (it was definitely not from Bronte) and prawns! I was expecting fresh prawns, especially since the dish cost 20 euros, but alas, I found myself served frozen cocktail prawns! YOU ARE RUINING TOURISM IN CIRÒ! NEVER AGAIN!

02/08/2025: Complimenti allo Chef, generalmente si dice così quando stai bene, ma direi Complimenti anche per il servizio impeccabile. Abbiamo festeggiato qui l'anniversario di matrimonio ed è stata un'esperienza molto bella. Ci siamo sentiti accolti e coccolati e ovviamente abbiamo mangiato dell'ottimo pesce fresco e leggero del territorio.. Nota importante c'è la possibilità di acquistare anche dei vini con una scelta che supera le 200 eichette. Torneremo sicuramente ancora. Consigliato.
