06/01/2024: Una serata tranquilla in un posto tranquillo nei giorni dopo Natale. Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante accompagnati dalla gradevole presenza del proprietario che non ha lesinato nel descriverci tutte le portate oltre alla storia del suo locale. Soddisfazione dagli antipasti ai digestivi.
17/12/2023: Ristorante molto accogliente nella scelta dei colori e dell ambiente interno con accostamenti architettonici a tema anche se non ricercati!! Buona presentazione dei piatti anche se leggendo le altre recensioni trovo costantemente la presenza delle cipolle come entree che risulta essere ripetitivo ed a basso costo…..
Il crudo con la scelta delle ostriche francesi ed italiane risulta essere buono anche se non ricchissimo come invece in altri locali calabresi che trattano pesce !! Piccola chicca del caviale italiano venduto però a prezzi esorbitanti confrontato a quello originale russo!!

Unico neo conto troppo elevato rispetto alle pietanze !!!

14/04/2024: We were first attracted by the delicious fryers and starters, out front.
The romagna pizza was excellent: flexible thin crust, generous toppings, my first pistachio on pizza (yum).
The staff were helpful, cheerful, attentive, and flexible (no onions on my half).
No smoke in the no smoking section!
Toilets are clean, but no seats.

04/03/2024: We had dinner at this place on the recommendation of the manager of the B&B we were staying in. Very clean place and excellent food. The first one was really good, gnocchi with fresh prawns.
11/01/2024: A fantastic family run lido, perfect location on the beachfront with excellent facilities. They have an indoor and outdoor seating area along with showers when you have finished on the beach.
The whole team are multilingual, very friendly and the food is all locally sourced and fresh.
Overall it is amazing value!

09/05/2024: Staff presumed we were tourists and grossly overcharged my wife €18 for 4 double espressos, 2 Cornetti, and 1 orange juice. We have lived in Scalea 16 years - first time stopping for caffe here since our normal favorites - Lanterna Blue and Retro were closed Thursday. We will not return to La Dolce Isola

01/04/2024: We eat very well. The restaurant is located inside a very particular ancient village.
15/02/2024: We love this hidden gem, the food is amazing and really brings you back to the local classical Italian flavors. We can’t get enough of their eggplant Parmesan. The restaurant is a bit of a hike through the historical district but it is well worth it. For those with restricted mobility we recommend parking near the top and walking down from the castle ruins (not wheelchair acceptance). Truly a great location for amazing Italian cuisine.

05/05/2024: Great place. I liked it very much. I lucked out on the day when they roasted a whole pig and made piadina from it. Very tasty and filling. Had a great time with friends. There was nice music and wine. Moreover, the restaurant director said that he prepares this wine himself. The Calabrian 🍷 is amazing.
From the poles I would like to note: a pleasant authentic atmosphere. There are different locations, and just tables and sofas, where it is fashionable to relax, and bar tables with high chairs, for lovers of this format. I liked that there was a pinball machine.
There is a highway not far from the establishment, so access by car is very convenient. Lots of parking spaces.
21/11/2023: Very nice environment, the lady who served us was a bit confused but very pleasant, the food was good but I'm used to slightly different food
