05/01/2026: We went on a two-hour trek in the woods! The girls who guided us, Noemi and her sister-in-law, were punctual. They made the experience beautiful, lighthearted, and filled us with lots of relevant information about the activity! They were kind enough to offer us a small refreshment with local sweets, baked by their mother and themselves, and I must say I really appreciated both the gesture and the sweets!

04/01/2026: Chiosco Rosso is a small sandwich shop located in Lorica. The exterior features charming, traditional Sila covered benches; the interior is tiny but charming and well-kept. The sandwiches are excellent, as are the ingredients used. The staff is very friendly and eager to accommodate customer requests; the prices are very fair. Overall, it's a great place to grab a good sandwich in complete tranquility. I highly recommend it.

07/01/2026: Every time I return to town, I come here to eat. Everything is super good. Pizzas, first courses, second courses, and the fantastic desserts. Welcoming and quaint location. I recommend trying their cuisine at least once. 👍

Much of this is undoubtedly thanks to San Bernardo Ricevimenti. The venue, immersed in the pristine nature of the Sila Mountains, is simply enchanting. In addition to the professional and impeccable service, the dishes, prepared with dedication and care, using fresh, high-quality, local ingredients, were truly exceptional! 19/10/2025: A Perfect Banquet of Flavor and Elegance. ​I had the pleasure of celebrating a special occasion, my nephew's graduation party, with a banquet prepared by Executive Chef Gustavo Congi and his daughter, Lady Chef Denisia Congi. ​Despite the close friendship and respect that bind me to the Congi family, I cannot help but express my sincere appreciation. Their cuisine was simply sublime. ​The dishes showcase the finest local ingredients, which, crafted with professionalism and love, are transformed into creations of the highest quality. Each course was presented with elegance and refinement. The risotto with crispy green beans, pumpkin cream, and grilled bacon was particularly noteworthy. ​A dish that celebrates autumn and the richness of mountain flavors. The rice was cooked to perfection, with the grain al dente, enclosing the heart of starch. Chefs Gustavo and Denisia succeeded in creating a vibrant contrast, masterfully balancing creaminess and crunchiness. 04/01/2026: Excellent food, and quick, efficient service. The only negative is the live music, which was quite loud; a lower volume would have definitely been more relaxing. Overall, an experience worth repeating.

01/01/2026: The place was chosen based on the previous, positive experiences of my companions. A welcoming and well-kept place, we sat down, were served drinks, and waited about 15 minutes (despite the place having approximately four occupied tables inside) to order. We then waited another 30 minutes to receive our order (2 pizzas with kebabs, 1 Margherita, and 1 Margherita with buffalo mozzarella). We concluded with a 10-minute wait for three coffees. The pizza was mediocre in flavor and presentation, one of which, requested with little sauce, was delivered with complete disregard for the same request. Prices were low, but quality was declining compared to the past. Needs improvement!

06/01/2026: Massage in the Woods AWFUL EXPERIENCE. I was given this 40-minute body massage in a cabin surrounded by trees. It was a couple's massage. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and evocative. The magic was shattered when I realized the massage table was a very narrow portable table, so narrow that I had to strain to keep my arms from falling; the oil applied to my body was COLD; and the massage was performed without any sense: I didn't experience the slow, enveloping movements that the treatment should have included; on the contrary, the movements were rapid and therefore not very relaxing, because it is objectively IMPOSSIBLE to perform a relaxing full-body massage in 40 minutes. Not to mention the fact that the therapists were whispering to each other, and the person working on me occasionally paused for a few seconds. We stopped for a few minutes on the pool loungers before getting our massage, and I noticed how poorly hygiene standards are adhered to inside the place: customers are given disposable slippers to access the spa and pool, and the staff wears shoes to go back and forth between the spa and the pool. It's not worth a cent of the high prices they charge for services. I won't be returning.
