22/07/2025: I would have given the service 5 stars if, throughout the entire dinner, the atmosphere of TENSION, ANXIETY, and STRESS that poor waiter was experiencing because of the owner hadn't been FULLY palpable. If he was tidying up glasses, he'd tell him to leave and do something else; if he was clearing the table, he'd interrupt him to do something else. He couldn't even stop by the table to give information about a pizza, or he'd call him back. I have to be honest and hope the gentleman reads this and takes action, both personally and personally, for the restaurant and the products they deserve!
Really good pizza, though!
22/07/2025: Small outdoor restaurant with limited seating, but the pizza was excellent: excellent dough, left to rise for a long time (very digestible pizza), and excellent ingredients. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent service. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended.

14/08/2025: The pan pizza is excellent, crispy and very light, and the toppings are top-quality. I went because the reviews piqued my interest, and the experience confirmed what I'd read. I wasn't particularly fond of the fried foods, but that's a subjective thing and therefore, as far as I'm concerned, it can't be reviewed. The pizza is objectively top-notch. Congratulations.

12/08/2025: On Sunday evening, I ordered three takeout pizzas at 7:10 PM, with pickup at 8:30 PM.
I arrived slightly early, at 8:25 PM, but the pizzas weren't delivered until 8:49 PM.
Such a delay, especially with a reservation made well in advance, isn't what you'd expect: I would have expected them to be ready or about to be.
The pizza itself is good but average, and the ingredients are high-quality, but since I'm not from the area, I found the prices quite high. They're probably in line with the quality, but the service should be more punctual to fully justify them.
Few pizzerias offer a stuffed crust, which is a plus!
07/08/2025: There were two things I didn't like about this place: the arrogance of the waitress, who, as soon as we arrived (9:40 PM), told us to hurry up with our order because the kitchen was closing, and the chips on the pizza, which were truly miserable. €9 for a pizza...

01/09/2025: Right on the street can be a bit off-putting. That would be a mistake here. I was able to peek into the kitchen to see how the dishes were prepared with fresh ingredients. The pizza (Neapolitan) is wonderfully crispy, made with the finest ingredients. Don't be put off by the small menu! The chef will make anything you want, and the pasta is homemade.
20/08/2025: The photo shows the quality: we were too enraptured while eating to even consider the full plates. Delicious pizza with a wide selection of classics and creative combinations (the Orlando is especially recommended), and the squid pasta, made by reservation, is mind-blowing! Giuseppe and Carmela are kind and friendly, and the prices are more than fair.

17/08/2025: They place you just to occupy the free tables and without warning at 9.30pm they start telling you that they have the second shift but the customers are not objects that you seat and then throw them out. You warn them before making them sit down that there is a double shift so as to give the customer the choice whether to sit down or not. If you have been doing this job for 30 years, you are doing it a bit badly, starting from the management of the guests. It's a shame because we would have also tried the desserts but the girls at the entrance were obsessed with the second shift. If we had known that was the case, we wouldn't have even stopped to warn the customers beforehand that they are not just ATMs to make money but people!
22/07/2025: A welcoming restaurant in the center of Praia. Traditional ingredients with a few well-crafted twists. Generous portions. Fairly priced. Attentive and courteous service.

20/08/2025: Every summer, I stop by this place to try something. This year, I was unpleasantly surprised by the decline in product quality, portion size, and the exorbitant price increase.
The pizza slices pictured cost around €9 and weren't even worth a single pizza. We then ordered arancini (dry, presumably frozen) and a stuffed calzone (which was all bread).
I'm truly sorry.
09/08/2025: I stopped at this place because of the name, of course. And I was pleasantly surprised. The food was really good, simple, and very reasonably priced. The staff were super friendly and helpful.

05/07/2025: Excellent pizza by the slice..... I go there often every year I am in Praia.. And always good. It's been more than 20 years now.... the pizza is always the same, same cooking... same crispiness.... flavor... top. In my opinion the best pizza by the slice in Praia.

Welcomed by the owner with friendly verve
Recommended for appetizers. Very good the swordfish marinated in coffee. Excellent the tuna with caramelized onions. Good the parmigiana. Spaghetti with clams that would have deserved a 10 if there had been clams (separated and white horns). But still excellent 9. Very good spaghetti with mussels and pistachio. Excellent the lightly seared tuna. For the wine we chose iOS a pure pecoral of russo and longo 2 bottles.. Excellent dinner in a beautiful location
To return immediately. We paid about 50 euros per person
12/05/2025: In an enchanting corner of Tortora, the Tartufo di Mare restaurant enchanted us with a memorable lunch on the occasion of Mother's Day.
Salvatore, kind host and cooking artist, accompanied us on a journey of refined and sincere taste, where each dish told a story of the sea, passion and excellent raw materials. The welcoming atmosphere, the attention to every detail and the authentic attention towards the guest make this place a small oasis of pleasure. An experience that remains in the heart. To live and relive.

14/08/2025: A pleasant, average restaurant with a simple, welcoming atmosphere. The fish was fresh and well-prepared, no surprises, but good quality. I had swordfish. My girlfriend had spaghetti with shrimp and pistachios. The service was friendly. Overall, I'd say the four stars are fair. I'd gladly return for a casual dinner.

Personale cortese ed estremamente preparato, accettate i consigli sui fuori menù e sul vino. Ho assaggiato uno zibbibbo locale ottimo
18/07/2025: Non fermatevi alle stelle delle recensioni, magari è frutto di chi ha visto solo il conto. L'ambiente è romantico, il pesce è fresco e le porzioni super abbondanti. Il personale gentile e il proprietario alla mano. Per la qualità che offre i prezzi sono nella media degli altri ristoranti di pesce. Quindi super consigliato

06/09/2025: We took some pizzas, for both of them the cooking was right, the dough too, seasoned in a very exhaustive way, the cost is correct for the pizzas but a little less for some whim.
Basically a good surprise.
To return.
03/09/2025: We stopped for pizza. The service was friendly. The pizza was good, and the prices were fair. An average pizzeria worth considering in the area.

29/08/2025: I haven't been there for a few years. One time the pizza was really good, but then one evening we were served a pizza with truly awful broccoli rabe. We were ignored when we complained. On another occasion, the fresh cherry tomatoes had a musty smell typical of piennolo. Maybe they hadn't been washed properly, which is understandable. But rather than apologize, I overheard the pizza chef (I was sitting next to him at a table)
who was calling us colorful names. Now, we haven't been back in 3 or 4 years, and to say that for us, it was a point of reference here in Praia.
We've been back, but it's a shame that the management is very nervous.
We were invited to go because "there are people waiting outside," in an inelegant and nervous manner. When we asked to pay the bill separately, we were mocked at the cashier. It's a shame because the place isn't bad, but the management is too nervous.
