08/07/2025: Disappointing experience. The menu we were given offered many options, but once we ordered, we were told that most of them were unavailable. Table service was virtually nonexistent; we were forced to get up, pick up our order at the counter, and bring it to our table. I expected much better organization.
31/05/2025: I have never visited this place, but from the photos it seems beautiful and only listening to the words of Giorgio the owner, it is possible to understand the dedication, care and passion for beautiful things, especially if they are places of the heart.

09/07/2025: As regulars at Santino, we had the pleasure of attending two extraordinary ethnic-themed dinners: one dedicated to Mexican cuisine, the other to Russian tradition. Both were true sensory experiences, with meticulous attention to every detail, from the dining room decor to the presentation of the dishes, including the variety of courses and their consistency with the culinary traditions represented.
The quality of the ingredients was excellent, as was the balance between authenticity and creativity. Traditional recipes were rigorously respected, yet at the same time reinterpreted with taste and intelligence, thanks to a distinctly Italian, and particularly Calabrian, touch that enhanced the flavors without ever distorting them.
We tasted dishes rarely found outside their original contexts, prepared with technique and passion: each course told a story, and each bite was a journey. Impeccable service, passionate and competent staff, a warm and convivial atmosphere: everything contributed to making these evenings truly memorable.
A courageous and successful initiative, which demonstrates that Sant'Emilia is more than just a restaurant, but a place where food culture becomes a living, shared, and surprising experience.

09/07/2025: As regular patrons of Santino, we had the pleasure of attending two exceptional themed ethnic dinners: one celebrating Mexican cuisine, the other dedicated to Russian culinary traditions. Both evenings were true sensory journeys, thoughtfully curated down to the finest details, from the ambiance and decor to the presentation of each dish, the variety of courses, and the faithful representation of each culinary heritage.
The quality of the ingredients was outstanding, as was the balance between authenticity and creative flair. Traditional recipes were honored with great precision, yet tastefully reimagined with intelligence and elegance. An unmistakably Italian, and particularly Calabrian touch elevated the flavors without ever compromising their integrity.
We sampled dishes rarely seen outside their native contexts, each prepared with technical skill and heartfelt passion. Every course told a story; every bite felt like a journey. The service was flawless, the staff passionate and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere warm and convivial, all of which made these evenings truly unforgettable.

04/06/2025: There were 11 of us, with a table booked, and we waited more than an hour to start eating.
Usually water is brought to the table right away, we asked for it and promptly too.
Poor service, confusion in the order, the dishes were good, a little salty but good.
High price, not in line with the service and the quantities on the plates.
We ate outside the structure, attached to the rows of umbrellas with people spreading creams or waving beach towels.
In my opinion there is a lot to improve

We will return to try the first and second courses. Compliments for everything: from the service to the truly quality food

Eravamo in due e abbiamo preso solo l'antipasto tipico, abbondante e ottimo, accompagnato a fine pasto da un gustosissimo amaro al finocchietto

27/04/2025: Come da titolo il cibo è abbastanza buono, anche se in zona ho provato ristoranti migliori, ciò che lascia veramente a desiderare e l'educazione del personale.
Noi abbiamo preso tre antipasti, uno di terra e due di mare, quello di terra era composto da salumi da discount, quelli di mare invece si alternavano con prodotti abbastanza buoni e altri congelati, siamo poi passati ai primi dove poi ci siamo fermati, il risotto ai frutti di mare era buono, la pasta ai frutti di mare era leggermente salata.
Nota molto positiva per la pizza, buona e cotta al punto giusto.

14/06/2025: A farmhouse immersed in a wonderful context and with an unobstructable view, managed by a young entrepreneur named Pasquale, enthusiastic about his work, always smiling and very helpful. We stayed only one night with some friends from Bologna but we will return again to stay a few more days. Pasquale truly unique.

15/06/2025: We ordered a tropix appetizer for two and a plate of linguine with clams for the little girl, to be served together, as a first course two more linguine and a risotto alla pescatore. After about 15 minutes they served us the appetizer composed of an octopus salad in the center, around 1 marinated anchovy and a fried one, a square of marinated swordfish, 2 shrimp in cocktail sauce and a bruschetta, nothing special.
The plate of linguine that the little girl was supposed to eat remained intact, she usually goes crazy for this dish so we tasted it, and it didn't taste of anything, in fact it had a strange taste, we turned to the first waiter to cancel the other 2 plates of linguine because if they have the same flavor we don't eat them.
Unfortunately they are cooking, he tells us, "if you don't like them you can leave them".
And so we did, they had no flavor at all.
To conclude they ask us "can we offer you a coffee or a bitter, let's have a coffee
On the bill we find the coffees that they had offered us and the linguine that we returned intact.

02/06/2025: Excessive prices for the place, terrible experience with tasteless first courses, shrimps arrived only in the shells, washed pasta tasteless in flavor, worthy of a nursing home, hospital, but one of those in decay and abandonment. Wait with the place half empty, very long, disorganization for the dishes to come out, one eats, others look. I sincerely hope that it was a bad day, but when an owner sees the return of full plates in the kitchen, or whoever watches over him, he should do the math and maybe take a look at the table to find out why this return, asking at least if they should be redone or at least removed from the count. Which did not happen, despite having pointed everything out, with just a little discount as if we were experts or beggars, I forgot grilled tuna for a little girl after she left a simple pasta dish with sauce that arrived after about an hour tasteless, the tuna in brine and with a flavor too strong. I won't go on, I believe it is a constructive criticism and not a polemic, which will make you change the prices, service and quality of the food you are going to present. Tourism starts from welcoming, giving quality and fair price and taking advantage of any complaints and understanding the mistake, taking charge of everything, not thinking only of today, but of a potential customer who perhaps for years was and has been your customer.

We wanted to have some great seafood and we were fully satisfied.
Mussels, both with pepper, "impepata", and with a tomato soup were delicious.
Mixed grill and fried squids were also great and very tasty.
23/06/2025: We had a great time, the owner was very kind. We spent the right amount. The cutting board and the pizzas were exquisite. Highly recommended.

La Malteria dalla Birra alla Brace

18/06/2025: I was really disappointed by this experience. I expected much more, especially considering the exorbitant prices. We are talking about figures that, honestly, are not justified by the quality of the food or the service offered.
Let's start with the meat, which should be one of the strong points of the place. Well, in addition to having a very high cost, disproportionate compared to the average even of high-end restaurants, it did not meet expectations at all. Inaccurate cooking, small portions, and above all a flavor that absolutely does not justify the price paid. I have tasted better cuts in much more honest and accessible places.
Moving on to the pizza, unfortunately the story does not improve. The dough is heavy, not very leavened, with that feeling of bloating that remains even hours after the meal. A pizza that is difficult to digest, which betrays every principle of good bread making. Today a pizza, to be good, must be able to combine taste and digestibility, and here unfortunately we are light years away from both things.
