It feels illegal to eat here. One of the top 5 restaurants in my life. The ribeye is to die for. You might call dining here a spiritual experience, an enlightenment, if you will. We were lucky to have dined here.

The food was excellent. My husband's steak was particularly good. Also particularly noteworthy was the great service, with very friendly waitresses.
We'd love to come back next time we're in Kaltern.

17/10/2025: A very quaint, cozy restaurant. The food was excellent, and the staff were very attentive and friendly. They stopped by our table several times and asked if everything was okay and if we wanted anything else.
15/10/2025: A wonderfully cozy location on the edge of the forest. Very friendly service, excellent food! In my opinion, the most delicious spare ribs I've ever eaten!
A definite recommendation for those who like hearty food!

17/10/2025: We received excellent service here and had a wonderful dinner. In the evening, the awning was retracted, which gave us another fantastic view of the sky.
The service was truly attentive and extremely professional.
I had octopus, which was very well done and cooked to perfection.
The prices were a bit on the high side, but this is also reflected in the restaurant's style.

14/10/2025: As a restaurateur, I can say it's excellent value for money. Beautiful location, attentive service, homemade bread, and a kitchen staff who knows where to go. It's on the road, but perhaps a little inconvenient to see. Highly recommended! Well done! This effort deserves to be rewarded!

08/10/2025: I stayed here for three nights in early October. Having stayed in several other hotels in the dolomites La Tambra stands out as one of the very best. Super comfortable rooms and exceptionally, friendly and attentive staff, especially Rafaella at the front desk, who was very friendly and attentive to all my needs. The breakfast was exceptional as well. If I ever come back to the area, I would definitely want to stay here.
