02/02/2025: Sehr lecker gegessen, trotz dass wir keine Reservierung hatten, sind wir einfach spontan hierher gekommen, und wir konnten noch ausnahmsweise einen Tisch für zwei bekommen.
Bekommen haben wir ein tolles Essen, einfach, ehrlich und sehr gut. Wir waren sehr zufrieden.in dieser typischen, nicht touristisch geprägten Osteria.
Sobald mein italienisch besser ist, reserviere ich beim nächsten Mal vor

We hadn't been to Silvio for years due to the terrible and unacceptable practice of double shifts
This year he developed a fantastic APP that allowed us to book dinner at normal times.
So we went often. Simple but excellent fish cuisine. Good choice of wines and extraordinary location. For me Silvio has represented "holiday" for at least 30 years and the happiness of being able to return for the dinner time I want is infinite.
Too bad the bread is a little too simple and the fries aren't there!
30/09/2024: Suggestive panorama, immersed in nature just a stone's throw from the sea. Fish-based menu, we tasted ciavattoni and chitarrine, ragusa and fried anchovies and dessert, all really good. Prices were normal.
Not so easy to get to the restaurant.
But it's worth it

La passione dei titolari e' il collante tra tutti gli ingredienti sopra indicati.

Servizio eccellente davvero.... Il cameriere Adolf è fantastico.... Passare una giornata a "il Ritorno" vuol dire staccare la spina alla grande. Ci ritorneremo

23/01/2025: Racconto la mia esperienza del menù degustazione di 5 portate a sorpresa al prezzo di 45€ a testa.
L'idea mi sembrava carina ma la cena è stata pessima, i piatti sembravano composti da rimanenze di frigo.
Mi aspettavo qualcosa un minimo di ricercato, ma mi sono stati proposti gamberetti in salsa cocktail (insalata, come potete vedere dalla foto, con evidenti segni di ossidazione), "una zuppa di legumi con del pesce arrosto, e ci sono anche delle vongole" così descritto dalla cameriera, degli gnocchi brodosi con gamberi e spinaci dal retrogusto amarognolo, un secondo di cui non ho scattato la foto ed un tiramisù passabile.
Locale bello, la nota dolente del servizio sono stati i tempi d'attesa tra una pietanza e l'altra veramente brevi.
Sconsiglio vivamente il menu degustazione.

Very good food, we had a starter of cured meats, generous portion. As a second course we took the sliced Fassona rare, top cooked, together it was accompanied by fried chips and an express barbecue sauce, the latter had a particular and excellent flavour.
Congratulations for the service, excellent quality/price. All accompanied by a bottle of house red wine.
To conclude we had the mojito semifreddo, which was also very good.
30/05/2024: Perfect first communion lunch. Abundant and delicious. Excellent service.

15/11/2024: If you are passing through Vallata and are looking for a good sandwich, Da Ciccio is a choice that does not disappoint. The place is welcoming and the staff is always helpful and kind, ready to give advice without being intrusive.
The menu offers a wide variety of sandwiches, from classic to more original. The ingredients are fresh and of excellent quality, with particular attention to local products. I tried one of the special sandwiches and was pleasantly surprised by the balance of flavours. The value for money is excellent, and the service is quick, perfect Da Ciccio is a great stop for anyone looking for a tasty meal in a relaxed environment. Advised!

09/10/2024: 6 Oct. 2024. After walking to the south lookout and Wolf Pass, we finally sat down to eat something and rest; this is a great place. The menu is not very well stocked but more than sufficient. Not much stuff but done really well. We had an appetizer, a perfectly cooked mixed grill and some desserts with sour cherry wine made by the owner, and suggested by the waiter, truly exceptional. Well done. And then what's better than having lunch outdoors under the shade of a persimmon tree and with a view of the sea?
