Excellent food and impeccable hospitality!
I have been there twice and I can say that Osteria Il Mattarello is a little gem waiting to be discovered. The place is characteristic and cared for in detail, with a warm and authentic atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease.
The staff is really kind: welcoming, smiling and always ready to advise with competence and friendliness.
I had a first course, a second course and a side dish, and I can say that every dish was a delight. Generous portions, quality ingredients and flavors that remind you of home and tradition.
An experience that I highly recommend and that I will definitely repeat!

03/06/2025: Restaurant located in the countryside, beautiful location in the middle of nature, with ample parking space for children to play outdoors and to relax after the meal. Welcoming service and in the right time. Appetizer of crescia, cold cuts and vegetables abundant and tasty. Tasty and tasty first courses, then we tried the piglet in the coccio, their specialty, the tender and tasty meat a marvel! Even the lamb was cooked to perfection!
Bill adequate for what we ate, absolutely recommended!

22/06/2025: Fabulous place, everything excellent, the location, the selection of wines, the fish... fresh and well cooked. We chose to go to the beach establishment and then have lunch... wonderful day and despite the 37 degrees on the beach in the restaurant in a well-ventilated position and with a veranda totally in the shade you are very cool.

18/05/2025: Il ristorante è situato in un posto molto carino vicino un laghetto. Ristorante molto basico, partendo dal presupposto che non hanno neanche un menù cartaceo ne digitale.
Ci hanno elencato soltanto i primi, senza antipasti e i secondi solo una grigliata..
Insomma non ha molta varietà di cibi.
I cibi sono di buona qualità e di ottima cottura.
Personale gentile e cortese.
Prezzi sono ottimi.

23/03/2025: Terza volta al Ritorno, trovato tavolo libero per il sabato sera. Ravioli con condimento che rendeva "indecifrabile" la qualità del piatto, tagliata di quarto posteriore, di allevamento proprio, servita a modo di, come lo chiamiamo qui nelle Marche, Straccetti di carne, prezzo non adeguato per quanto offerto. Dolci secchi e crostata deludenti. Peccato si stia perdendo la vera qualità dell'Agriturismo familiare!

15/11/2024: If you are passing through Vallata and are looking for a good sandwich, Da Ciccio is a choice that does not disappoint. The place is welcoming and the staff is always helpful and kind, ready to give advice without being intrusive.
The menu offers a wide variety of sandwiches, from classic to more original. The ingredients are fresh and of excellent quality, with particular attention to local products. I tried one of the special sandwiches and was pleasantly surprised by the balance of flavours. The value for money is excellent, and the service is quick, perfect Da Ciccio is a great stop for anyone looking for a tasty meal in a relaxed environment. Advised!

03/05/2025: Cena in famiglia, durante una vacanza di qualche giorno nel Conero. Abbiamo portato volentieri il ns bimbo che voleva il menù Old Wild West bimbi. Siamo rimasti sorpresi dalla velocità di servizio. 19,45 seduti al tavolo e dopo 10 minuti arriva il cameriere con il mangiare. (In Brianza attendiamo un po’ di più solitamente : )
Buono il cibo, e contento il ns bimbo che ha ricevuto sia i pastelli a cera che il regalo personaggio come dicono in tv. Ultimamente in altri Old non viene più dato e lo stavamo proprio escludendo, per i bambini è importante non essere delusi dalle aspettative.
Nel complesso ci siamo trovati bene nonostante ci fosse anche abbastanza gente in sala

06/07/2025: I have known this restaurant for years and for the first time I am intervening because I have seen some recent reviews that are clearly false and in exaggerated contrast with the previous ones that were all positive. The meat is excellent and the price-quality ratio is unbeatable. The first courses are delicious and plentiful. The staff is attentive and friendly. What more can I say? It will not disappoint you.

My daughter booked a table about 3 weeks in advance for a group of 12 people. On the day of the dinner the group showed up at the restaurant and were told that due to a wedding their reservation had been cancelled. Other customers were dismissed with the same response

28/06/2025: Good evening, I will be of few words, I went with a friend of mine to this place to eat.
We ordered a cold cuts platter divided by 2, 3 portions of arrosticini (6 pieces per portion) 2 beers for 66 a side dish of vegetables to find ourselves with a bill of 75, I had to put 1 star because 0 does not let me put one. In my opinion if you go to eat fish along the sea you spend less I strongly advise against it to everyone I will never go back there again

22/05/2025: For me, the taverna del monaco is a guarantee, for work I am very often in the baraccola area and if I have little time and want to eat well I know that here I can have the right compromise. The service is fast and attentive, you can always have a chat with Maria. The food is good and genuine, everything prepared at the moment, the thing I like most are the fish first courses always revised by chef Lorenzo. You always find something new. See you soon 😀
16/05/2025: Always a guarantee. Excellent meat. First courses always "express". Side dishes with fresh seasonal vegetables. Desserts always special and tasty.
