24/10/2024: We had the most incredible dining experience at this restaurant, nestled on the way to Albidona, this gem boasts almost a 360-degree panoramic view that takes your breath away. The atmosphere is as delightful as the food! From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family by the owners and staff. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The highlight was the small platters of local specialties that just kept coming until we were almost full—though we couldn't resist tasting every dish because they were simply that good! Each plate was crafted with love and care, showcasing the best of local, high-quality produce. Every bite was a testament to the chef’s passion for cooking, making this an unforgettable culinary experience. 01/01/2025: We happened to celebrate New Year's Eve in this restaurant by pure chance! And what can I say... Simply perfect condition! We were welcomed by the owner Paolo with a beautiful smile and friendliness! Service was perfect and menu simply speechless! Every dish full of flavours! Excellent food quality! I highly recommend stopping by this place! 🤩

16/11/2024: I had been living in Tropea for a few weeks and this place and their sister restaurant, la dispensa by boca, are my favorite spots by far. The food is amazing, I enjoyed every meal and kept going back. I tried a few of the pasta dishes and main courses, and all are delicious, including the friesian sirloin steak, which was perfectly cooked. the three course tasting menu is a very good value. All of the seafood was very fresh and very well prepared. I loved how they mixed flavors and explored new ways of incorporating Calabrese staples. Each meal was a really fun foodie experience. The wine selection is also excellent. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable and excited about the food and wine. It’s also beautiful as it is in the square next to the duomo. This is a must visit when in Tropea, enjoy!

28/08/2024: Came here on a recommendation. Located on a narrow pedestrian road with parking very difficult at weekends. The staff are nice and welcoming. The owners came to chat and it was nice to meet them. The chef came out to advise on the types of meat that would pair with our preference of rare, medium rare, well done etc. I liked this level of service and we opted for a large steak to share across the table. It took a while for the food to come out and after we almost finished a different set of steak knives came to the table which was a bit odd and slow. There are very limited sides to order from. We had fries and roasted vegetables which were very small portion and the second portion came after we had finished our meal. Nice setting, nice staff, meat a little tough but may have been our choice of meat. Would come again if in the area but wouldn’t travel 45 mins just for this meal.

24/08/2024: Lord Giuseppe offered us some delicious sandwiches with the kebab prepared by him, other cured meats and phenomenal homemade pickles. Accompanied by the fresh beer that made the lunch stop of the bike trip truly special. Thank you for your kind welcome!

18/08/2024: We were invited to dinner at this place by my uncles: we ate very well and the portions were generous. The cured meat starter and the mixed grilled meat are truly worthy. Highly recommended!

05/11/2024: Laat je niet afschrikken door de ingang want dat is voor de take out ! In een apart stuk kan je zitten . Wij aten overheerlijke malse steak met een slaatje en frieten . Perfecte cuisson . Als dessert nog een tiramisu en het was meer dan geslaagd . Leffe van het vat !

01/01/2025: Got the worse food poisoning from their oysters. Probably will never eat here again ! But also a tip : always check with the fork if the oysters are alive. If they are not , don’t eat it.

15/12/2024: If we could give this place 6 stars we would!! We ordered the French flights, steak frites, the swordfish, and crème brûlée. It was delicious!! Our waiter Djamal (the D is silent) was amazing. His service is outstanding! He was extremely attentive, and one of the loveliest waiters we’ve ever encountered in our dining experiences spread across the world. Our new favorite local spot 😊
