26/10/2025: Terrible organization. We made a reservation by phone 15 days in advance for a Sunday lunch for 6 adults and 6 children. We arrived at Crepuscolo and the owner told us there was no reservation in my name, that perhaps I had chosen the wrong restaurant, and that there was no room. I showed him the calls I had made while speaking to his wife, and after speaking to his wife, he replied, telling me that his wife had told us there was no room. In short, they didn't know what to say and were making up excuses, telling us so many lies, even making us look like liars.
Book elsewhere, avoid unpleasant surprises.

They sat us outside in the cool, but there's plenty of seating inside
The food was all delicious
You won't eat until you burst, but it's good

12/09/2025: The food at this restaurant lives up to its name perfectly. The flavors are authentic, the portions generous. Don't be afraid to split a mixed appetizer between two people or choose just one main course each and split the portions with your companion.
The outdoor tables under the trellis are a sweet treat and a pleasant experience.
The service isn't particularly fast, but it's not slow either.
For β¬20, you can leave your table feeling full.

29/08/2025: A pleasant surprise. I hadn't eaten at this restaurant before, but after this dinner, it certainly won't be the last for both my guests and me. Everything was delicious. The meat was good quality and well-cooked. A special mention goes to the chef's carefully selected crostini. The staff is extremely kind, knowledgeable, punctual, and meticulous. My guests have a large dog, so when booking, we asked for a secluded table, and the owner accommodated our request. Highly recommended.

12/10/2025: Everything was perfect. Excellent meat and a wide selection, with many unique delicacies. The desserts were also exquisite, with special mention for the salted caramel ice cream and the tiramisu. Truly excellent. One caveat: during these first cold days, it would be helpful to turn up the heating a bit, as the place was chilly at times. But it's really a small thing, as the atmosphere exudes warmth and a welcoming atmosphere.
21/09/2025: The meat is of sufficient quality. The side dishes are unmemorable. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. A more engaging and cheerful service wouldn't hurt.

30/10/2025: A small restaurant located in the heart of the Sassi, offering a wide selection of traditional dishes from Matera and Basilicata.
The food was appreciated and approved by everyone, and the prices were quite reasonable given the location and the menu offerings.
My only complaint was that the atmosphere was a bit gloomy, quiet, and cold, especially on a Saturday night. I think the restaurant deserves more visibility, and a manager who knows how to attract customers.
My compliments to the professionalism of the waiter!

23/08/2025: You make us ashamed of being from Matera, first of all, because it's true that Matera has become untouchable, and often unjustifiably so. Then it also makes us angry if we're the ones being ripped off. For two, we consume a small plate of carpaccio for β¬5, a microscopic platter of cured meats and cheeses for β¬10. So far, almost normal... But consuming a medium-sized rib-eye steak, because I didn't have the pleasure of seeing it being cut, of barely aged heifer, completely devoid of marbling, dry, β¬47... FORTY-SEVEN euros. Mineral water. Total β¬70. The next day I ate fish at a seaside restaurant in Puglia, a full meal for two for β¬75. Shame!!
