12/10/2025: Everything was perfect. Excellent meat and a wide selection, with many unique delicacies. The desserts were also exquisite, with special mention for the salted caramel ice cream and the tiramisu. Truly excellent. One caveat: during these first cold days, it would be helpful to turn up the heating a bit, as the place was chilly at times. But it's really a small thing, as the atmosphere exudes warmth and a welcoming atmosphere.

21/09/2025: The meat is of sufficient quality. The side dishes are unmemorable. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. A more engaging and cheerful service wouldn't hurt.

26/10/2025: After eight years, I returned to this place for lunch and was shocked that there were four of us eating at my table. I found it strange since it was Saturday, but it's okay. I ate the same dishes I've always ordered: carpaccio, bombette, bombe, brasciole with sauce, and a braised beef with caramelized Tropea onion. For dessert, tiramisu, coffee, and two bottles of wine by the glass. Rating: €157, and three out of four people had severe bouts of... One star is even too much.

30/10/2025: A small restaurant located in the heart of the Sassi, offering a wide selection of traditional dishes from Matera and Basilicata. The food was appreciated and approved by everyone, and the prices were quite reasonable given the location and the menu offerings. My only complaint was that the atmosphere was a bit gloomy, quiet, and cold, especially on a Saturday night. I think the restaurant deserves more visibility, and a manager who knows how to attract customers. My compliments to the professionalism of the waiter!

02/11/2025: We went to eat on a Saturday in early November, the first of 2025, and we paid a lot, 55 euros each. They robbed us completely, eating a first course each and a sliced ​​steak in 3. I strongly advise against it, don't go there. I would like to add that the meat wasn't even blended but vacuum-packed, called Podolica, the wine was local according to them, the fruit was pureed and no longer good, not to mention the coffee, burnt. I reiterate that the price is highly exaggerated and the staff is very accommodating. This restaurant should be avoided, I completely reject it. The fact that we no longer come is a given, in our area the meat is blended in the Salerno area and kept on display, and then yesterday we went to a restaurant to eat, not a jewelry store (how much is the price per kg?). Learn to be more polite and professional, dear restaurateurs, education comes first, then everything else comes. Always remember this. I send you my warmest regards. 02/11/2025: The place is very clean and the girl who works there is very polite. The appetizers are almost all frozen, the first pizza was good, but the second one with cardoncelli mushrooms was unsatisfactory because the cardoncelli mushrooms were almost nonexistent.

23/08/2025: You make us ashamed of being from Matera, first of all, because it's true that Matera has become untouchable, and often unjustifiably so. Then it also makes us angry if we're the ones being ripped off. For two, we consume a small plate of carpaccio for €5, a microscopic platter of cured meats and cheeses for €10. So far, almost normal... But consuming a medium-sized rib-eye steak, because I didn't have the pleasure of seeing it being cut, of barely aged heifer, completely devoid of marbling, dry, €47... FORTY-SEVEN euros. Mineral water. Total €70. The next day I ate fish at a seaside restaurant in Puglia, a full meal for two for €75. Shame!!
