Highly recommended.
27/01/2026: The pizza is excellent, with a light crust and good toppings.
The pizza selection is vast, but the meat options aren't. Three or four more options would be perfect, in my opinion.
The prices are average; the staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the service is good.

12/10/2025: Everything was perfect. Excellent meat and a wide selection, with many unique delicacies. The desserts were also exquisite, with special mention for the salted caramel ice cream and the tiramisu. Truly excellent. One caveat: during these first cold days, it would be helpful to turn up the heating a bit, as the place was chilly at times. But it's really a small thing, as the atmosphere exudes warmth and a welcoming atmosphere.
21/09/2025: The meat is of sufficient quality. The side dishes are unmemorable. The prices are fair for the quality of the food. A more engaging and cheerful service wouldn't hurt.

29/08/2025: A pleasant surprise. I hadn't eaten at this restaurant before, but after this dinner, it certainly won't be the last for both my guests and me. Everything was delicious. The meat was good quality and well-cooked. A special mention goes to the chef's carefully selected crostini. The staff is extremely kind, knowledgeable, punctual, and meticulous. My guests have a large dog, so when booking, we asked for a secluded table, and the owner accommodated our request. Highly recommended.

26/10/2025: Terrible organization. We made a reservation by phone 15 days in advance for a Sunday lunch for 6 adults and 6 children. We arrived at Crepuscolo and the owner told us there was no reservation in my name, that perhaps I had chosen the wrong restaurant, and that there was no room. I showed him the calls I had made while speaking to his wife, and after speaking to his wife, he replied, telling me that his wife had told us there was no room. In short, they didn't know what to say and were making up excuses, telling us so many lies, even making us look like liars.
Book elsewhere, avoid unpleasant surprises.

18/01/2026: Terrible experience. Dinner in the cold, almost freezing, and a decidedly high bill.
I'd been here a while ago and had a great time: the food was good, and each dish was carefully explained. This evening, however, was a completely different story.
The dishes were brought out quickly, as if it were "eat if you're hungry," with no explanation of the dishes. Plus, almost everything tasted only of spices. The result was a heavy, acidic stomach... we'll see how the night goes.
Even reading the reviews lately, the quality seems to have deteriorated. I definitely won't be back. After such a high bill, you made me feel like a real idiot 🫏😂

Terrible experience. I ordered a pork chop and was served a piece of meat that was clearly defrosted (and badly defrosted) in taste and texture. The serious problem is that the menu didn't have any asterisks or indications that it was frozen.
Paying for fresh food and eating frozen food that wasn't marked is not only a disservice, it's disrespectful to the customer and an unfair business practice. The meat was inedible. Not recommended for those looking for honesty and quality.
18/11/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant in the historic center of Matera by chance, and I must say we were lucky after having rejected at least four other restaurants that didn't inspire confidence in our search for local, homemade delicacies.
Excellent welcome from the kind and attentive waiter...
We don't know his name, but he was Venezuelan and exuded great empathy and professionalism.
Excellent, authentically Lucanian and homemade food, as shown in the attached photo.
Cavatelli alla Lucana and Lucanian sausage.
Ash-crusted potato.
We recommend it.

02/11/2025: The place is very clean and the girl who works there is very polite. The appetizers are almost all frozen, the first pizza was good, but the second one with cardoncelli mushrooms was unsatisfactory because the cardoncelli mushrooms were almost nonexistent.
