Everything was meticulously planned down to the smallest detail, and every guest was attentive, especially those with allergies and food intolerances. Since my son is allergic to milk proteins and I have other guests with various allergies, I can only say that it's rare to find such knowledgeable, attentive, meticulous, and helpful staff. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts. See you at the next party.

04/01/2026: La Baita a Scanno is an excellent restaurant to stop at after a day spent in nature. Lunch was delicious and of high quality, featuring traditional local dishes. The arrosticini, in particular, were excellent: well-cooked, flavorful, and truly delicious. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service courteous, making the experience pleasant and relaxing. It's a recommended place for anyone who wants to sample Abruzzo cuisine in a family atmosphere.

As soon as you step inside, you immediately sense that nothing has been left to chance: the setting is meticulously designed, with an aesthetic that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere without ever being overbearing. It's a place where you immediately feel at home, yet surrounded by refined beauty. The heart of the experience was the arrosticini: simply spectacular. The highest-quality meat, perfectly cooked, and that authentic flavor that only those who put passion into what they do can convey. You can sense from a mile away that the raw ingredients are selected with extreme care. Kudos to the staff: knowledgeable, discreet, and highly qualified, capable of guiding your dinner with professionalism. But the real added value is the owner. It's rare to meet people who put so much of themselves into their business: his eyes perfectly reflect the soul of the place. You can see the same dedication, transparency, and passion that are found in every dish and in every corner of the room. A gem I highly recommend to anyone looking not only for great food but also for a complete sensory experience. I'll definitely be back.

27/09/2025: Dropped into Maude today unannounced for a tasting. When asked by Lewis if we had a booking, I said I didn’t realise we needed one. He was a most gracious, generous and convivial host. He squeezed us in and made our visit an experience we’ll never forget. His wine recommendations were exquisite and on point. Highly recommend this cellar door. Thanks Lewis. Much appreciated.

14/10/2025: Parco dei Mulini has been a trusted favorite for several years now. I've been here often, even on different occasions (in the summer, the kiosk is open, you can eat outside in the heavenly temperatures, and the live music evenings are fantastic!). In the winter, they host indoor evenings, and the menus change based on events (the pizzas, in particular, are updated frequently!). Top quality in everything, from beers to main courses, all the way to dessert (made by the fantastic staff), and the pizzas are unparalleled: the best pizzas in the Ortona area and the surrounding area, even though we're in Crecchio. Generous portions and affordable prices. The owner is super. The place is beautiful, surrounded by the greenery of a charming former mill, and it's not uncommon to spot a few animals!

24/09/2025: Always happy to book. Relaxing place, even if it's always busy. The food, both meat and pizza, is always excellent. The beers are also good, with a wide selection. Good value for money.

The arrosticini are simply exceptional: perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful, just as tradition dictates. But the real highlight is the stuffed bruschetta: large, plentiful, and bursting with quality ingredients. The waiters are always present, friendly, and attentive, putting guests at ease with their professionalism and warmth. Recommended!!!

11/10/2025: Prompt service and excellent pizza. The dough is light despite the size of the pizza, and there are plenty of gluten-free options. What can I say? This place made me happy. Prices? The lowest I've ever seen. Highly recommended for takeout, too. The photo shows a gluten-free pizza with a respectable crust (very important to me) and a superb tiramisu, also gluten-free.

24/10/2025: A very warm welcome with a clear desire to share their cuisine. Squash flan and mini cabbage stew to start, then an assortment of meats and desserts, all very tasty, including a revisited Tiramisu to discover.

19/10/2025: Specializing in meat cooking, from arrosticini to premium cuts. I really liked the research that goes into every dish and ingredient, all selected according to a very specific criterion: customer satisfaction. Fillet arrosticini, usually hard to find in a restaurant, are available here. The Godot appetizer was thrilling, two courses that vary according to the seasonality of the products, but which are a sublime explosion of flavors. One of these was the pumpkin tart on a cheese fondue and balsamic reduction, with a crunchy note provided by the puffed Venere rice, a flavor explosion. The wine cellar was also interesting, well-stocked for interesting pairings with the dishes. The meat was also exceptional and cooked to perfection. A very positive experience.

29/08/2025: If you need a base between Teramo and Ascoli Piceno, 15 minutes from the beaches of Alba Adriatica and Tortoreto, close to the Gran Sasso mountain roads and also a stone's throw from Norcia, Amatrice, Castelluccio, quiet and where you can eat well, family-run, clean and dignified, without great pretensions of luxury, this is the ideal place.
