10/12/2025: I'll admit that I'm not a meat lover, and I rarely eat it, but I found the burgers delicious here, light and made with quality ingredients.
The staff is friendly, and even when the place is crowded, the quality remains high.
Also recommended for takeout.

12/04/2026: One of my favorite places in Catania for good sandwiches. The quality/price ratio is excellent. I recommend trying the Cis pulled pork and their pulled pork products in general; they're delicious!
The staff is very helpful and patient. For a more relaxed meal, further ahead is a well-lit square with benches, and going up the street in the same direction as the restaurant, there's a fountain next to the church (which can always be useful ๐).

02/04/2026: When you're looking for a kebab far from the center of Catania in a small town like Aci Castello perched on the sea, you have to go to Shakira.
08/03/2026: We arrived here guided by the smell wafting from the waterfront. Upon entering, we noticed a strong armpit odor, which only made everything tastier.
The kebab was sliced โโvery thinly, and for our taste, it wasn't very spicy, but very delicate and still good.
The service was quick.
Recommended!

18/05/2026: After booking, they sat us at a cold, windy outdoor table. When ordering, we told the waitress we'd stay if they lowered the awning, and the waitress agreed. After a good half hour, with no waiters in sight, I went to the cashier to insist that they at least turn on the stove, but the cashier ignored me as well. The Spritz was brought to us in a broken glass, and we waited for our pizzas in the cold for over an hour. We didn't leave, just out of politeness.
10/05/2026: I was there on Saturday. The service, needless to say, was terrible. It took them thirty minutes to take my order, even after I'd said I wanted to order several times.
The pizza is also good. We also ordered a large Coke and got a large Pepsi.

03/05/2026: Terrible experience. Every time I come, I ask for certain things and I get others or some things don't arrive at all. You make the Mc Flurry halfway through the glass. The sandwiches and chips always arrive cold.
