14/02/2025: Local in the center of Rovato, excellent for an aperitif or a glass of wine. Great choice of wines and in particular Franciacorta, refined cuisine.

16/03/2025: Experience never to be repeated again. I had expressly asked (several times) their assistant at the tables that the hamburger meat not be prepared raw for me, the result? Rare meat, and frozen ingredients (salad, cheddar, tomato...). Asked for and received a repley (unfortunately with ingredients always frozen inside...). My wife the same, meat defrosted badly, and sandwich almost cold. €72 for three meals, should at least be a satisfying experience. Final joke: the lady's toothy smile during the greetings, and the classic phrase "did everything go well?"... Embarrassing.

26/03/2025: We ordered two vegan burgers, after half an hour they came back to tell us that they were out of stock but they brought us the beers, not giving us the opportunity to change places. In the end we got two pizzas which were burnt and overpriced (14€ each, with poor mushroom topping). Finally they tried to scam us by making us pay more and didn't even apologize.

Ogni morso è un’esplosione di sapori autentici! Anche il vino è ottimo, perfetto per accompagnare la cena. Ma il vero valore aggiunto sono i proprietari: gentili, amichevoli e sempre attenti ai clienti, rendono l’atmosfera calda e accogliente. Un locale dove tornerò sicuramente e che consiglio a tutti gli amanti della buona pizza!

29/03/2025: The more time passes, the more this chain loses ground in terms of the quality of the raw material, that is, the meat, and its preparation, since how it is aged, marinated, cooked, etc. is equally important. I often eat in roadhouses around northern Italy and I must say that the downward trend is now common. It's a shame, considering that they were the first to bring the so-called Steakhouses to Italy.

28/03/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐The Rhodhause in Desenzano del Garda proves to be a pleasant gastronomic experience, worthy of a solid 4 stars. The environment is refined and welcoming, with an atmosphere that is suitable for both romantic dinners and convivial evenings with friends. The layout of the tables is well thought out, allowing a good level of privacy while maintaining a dynamic atmosphere. The service is generally efficient and attentive to customer needs; the waiters are courteous and available to provide advice on the menu. However, on some occasions, during peak evenings, the service may be slightly slow or less precise, probably due to the volume of work. The menu offers a good variety of dishes, with a prevalence of traditional cuisine revisited in a modern key. The raw materials appear to be of good quality, fresh and seasonal. The portions are generous, and the presentation of the dishes is careful. Although the quality of the food is unquestionably good, there is perhaps a lack of originality and experimentation that could further elevate the culinary experience. Some dishes, although well executed, are a little predictable. The wine list is adequate, offering a decent selection of local and national wines. Overall, Rhodhause is a great option for a mid-to-upscale dinner in Desenzano. I would recommend a reservation, especially on weekends or in high season, to secure a table. The value for money is good, although not exceptional. A small improvement in the originality of the dishes and in the service during busier evenings would help achieve the 5 stars.

08/04/2025: Truly special place, it feels like taking a leap into the past! The environment is pleasant, clean. The service is attentive and friendly. The burgers are special! The meat is of good quality as are all the ingredients used. Praise for the chips: crunchy, fragrant and not greasy. Highly recommended!
