28/01/2025: A little gem in the heart of the city!" I had the pleasure of dining in this bistro and was struck by the welcoming atmosphere and attention to detail. The staff is kind and attentive, always ready to recommend the dishes of the day and wine pairings. The menu, while compact, is a celebration of authentic flavors and high-quality ingredients. I tried the fish fillet on Jerusalem artichoke cream: a refined and well-balanced combination. The desserts are also a strong point, in particular the revisited tiramisu, a true masterpiece. The prices are in line with the high quality of the experience, and I will certainly return to try other dishes. Highly recommended for both a romantic dinner and an informal lunch!

18/01/2025: I've known this place for years and hadn't been there for a while, I found a quiet environment, with news regarding the menu and the confirmation that everything is always excellent with an always efficient service, Giacomo is always attentive and kind as is the rest of the staff. ....go there if you want to make an incursion that lets you taste different dishes..... highly approved bistro 🤙🏻

31/01/2025: From social media everything is so perfect. Expectations are very high, but normal dishes with almost zero presentation. Considering the high costs of each individual course, one would expect them to also have a visual impact and a more refined presentation, in addition to gratifying the palate. In addition, when ordering the shrimp carpaccio we found 2 insects inside, which according to them, came from the sprouts present to "embellish" the dish. They immediately prepared it again but They didn't even refund the cost of this course. The only positive note was the good lobster linguine. Experience done, because I was overwhelmed by the curiosity to discover given the so much publicity on social media, but I wouldn't go back.

25/01/2025: beautiful place beautiful location.. but as the first courses were better I took a package of lobster and I have to tell the truth the flavor wasn't there so I had to review this thing as starters which I got were good.. to review a bit of variety choice of desserts but better the prices too high prices..

31/01/2025: I went to Sale e Pepe with friends. We had a mixed fry, chips, bruschetta and sandwiches. The mixed fried food could be eaten by 2 people, it wasn't bad but I've eaten something better. The chips and bruschetta were very good I took the Sale e Pepe sandwich: really GOOD sandwich... excellent grilled sausage, excellent aubergine parmigiana. The sandwiches are all served on the same plate with french fries nearby (a bit like frying, everyone gets their own sandwich) The service was fast and the staff were friendly and helpful The place was a bit small, there were 5 of us at the table and it was a bit cramped Excellent quality/price ratio Will I go back? Absolutely YES

29/01/2025: Sale e Pepe is an institution! Point, don't forget. Al Vomero is one of the very few places where it is really worth going and perhaps the only one where the meat is of an exceptional level. I read reviews where the freshness of the products was questioned...🤣🤣🤣 No comment. Ps: see you on Thursday, we'll probably have that wonderful barbecue again!🤙🏼

15/12/2024: Then the characteristic environment full of references to pop and Neapolitan culture, the place is not very large (inside room) but very well organized and very clean, even the space outside is very nice and decorated. The service was truly excellent, fast, polite and efficient, and also very welcoming and helpful. The food is delicious, well plated and very well looked after. Personally, I took the pastrami sandwich (a type of meat that is rare to find in the area, of Romanian origins. They also offered me to try it as I didn't know the flavour. Very good), tasty, well-stuffed and balanced. My girlfriend took the "Bud Spencer" sandwich, which was also very well prepared, stuffed and balanced. As for the drinks, there is a truly excellent selection of draft and bottled beer. Excellent value for money. Absolutely to return

15/12/2024: Good sandwich even if the meat had a bit of a burnt taste probably because the plate was dirty from previous cooking, because it wasn't burnt. The beer was also good and served at the right temperature. Very kind staff. Objectively beautiful and very clean place.

01/02/2025: I can only review the terrible service because we did not have the opportunity to enter. After just two minutes of delay we no longer found the table booked for 8.30pm. Yet at 5pm they called me to confirm that we were arriving. Not happy, they called us again at 8.32pm, while I was maneuvering to park and couldn't answer, and they didn't let us sit anymore. Meanwhile, other late groups arrived who entered normally, and incomplete groups who were waiting for other friends to enter all together. And we were in disbelief that we lost our table for two minutes. There is no such rudeness, at least you have to give me 15 minutes of tolerance. You cannot, after being two minutes late and having already contacted me for confirmation, ask for confirmation again two minutes before we arrived. If you are so popular, don't take reservations, if you don't know how to manage them, avoid them, make a better impression.
