13/01/2025: We stopped at Rifugio Capanna Tondi for lunch during a day of skiing, and it was an absolutely amazing experience. The food was outstanding – the lamb chops were perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor, while the prawn gnocchi was fresh and incredibly delicious.
The staff went above and beyond to accommodate our large group with ease, ensuring we all felt welcome and well taken care of. On top of that, the views from the restaurant were simply breathtaking, making the whole meal even more memorable.
Whether you’re skiing or just exploring the area, Rifugio Capanna Tondi is a must-visit spot. Great food, fantastic service, and stunning scenery – highly recommend!
30/12/2024: The location of the refuge is enchanting with a view of the Ampezzo Dolomites. The staff is attentive and kind: a special mention for Eugenio who served us on the terrace. The menu offers typical dishes of the area, for example eggs, potatoes and speck, the mountaineer's dish (grilled polenta, mushrooms, sausage, cheese), spätzli with Gorgonzola fondue, etc. All very good, however the price is also adequate for the offer.

15/02/2025: This is our favorite stop for cappuccinos and snacks in Cortina!
Right near our hotel. It was one of the unassuming places in Cortina. Meaning, Cortina is extremely bougie, and this place has much more of a welcoming feel. Food is nice, atmosphere is easy, and the vibe is chill.
Favorite part is the family that runs the place, they're amazing. So kind and thoughtful. Made us want to go back just to talk to them!
It's the kind of place that you want to support because, it's not only good food and coffee, you love the story and supporting a local business!
A+, definitely recommend!

It also has tables in the basement.

16/02/2025: Amazing place and good food but the staff was absolutely horrible. We Got ourselves a table outside and right after we got it instead of asking what we wanted they asked if we can leave. They were multiple times trying to throw us out. And were acting all rude.

17/08/2024: Accoglienza ottima, gentilezza di tutto il personale , piena disponibilità per prendere il sole in vista di Cortina. Ottimi piatti con possibilità di godersela sulla sdraio . Prezzo adeguato al posto, ma non esososo.
