23/12/2024: Sunday lunch as a couple, express stop. With parking, cozy atmosphere, clean bathrooms and wonderful service from Max. The bruschete antipasto was very delicious to share and two pasta dishes: pici al ragù toscano and cappellacci with lemon (shared), both delicious! With rosso wine recommended by Max, very good too. We will surely return!

05/01/2025: Abbiamo trascorso il fine anno qui e siamo stati davvero bene... Ottimo servizio bella la taverna dove abbiamo cenato, i proprietari davvero gentili e meritevoli di un bel 10 per l'organizzazione che non ha mancato di nulla. Bello il menù e il dolce eccezionale. Ci rivedremo presto.

From the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed—the owner went above and beyond with his hospitality, helping us choose the perfect wine pairings and ensuring every detail was just right. You can tell this is a true family-run restaurant, with fresh, homemade dishes that showcase authentic Italian flavors. We had seafood pasta, mushroom pasta, perfectly cooked meat, and finished with a refreshing lemon sorbet - every bite was amazing. Hands down our favorite meal in Italy. Highly recommend!
19/02/2025: Very nice and well looked after, you eat well (desserts not tried, but starter, first course, second course and side dish super approved, and abundant dishes), and you spend the right amount.
Another positive note is the restaurant's private parking. I recommend going there especially in winter

09/12/2024: Mi sono recato insieme a mia moglie e ad una coppia di amici in questo ristorante e devo dire che siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti. La location è accogliente, il cibo che ripercorre la tradizione toscana di qualità. Abbiamo optato per un tagliere toscano e crostini misti
veramente ottimi. Riguardo ai primi abbiamo apprezzato i pici al ragù di cinta senese molto appetitosi. Non abbiamo preso i secondi. I dolci sono ottimi. Il tutto innaffiato con un eccellente rosso di Montepulciano di qualità ottima. Rapporto qualità prezzo molto buono.
25/09/2024: Locale bello super pulito , personale con poca esperienza e si vede , i due primi che abbiamo preso erano senza sale quando abbiamo avvisato ci hanno portato il sale , finito il problema.
I secondi buoni e gustosi .
Vino buono conto come altra volta un poco alto rispetto a quello mangiato .

06/09/2024: This post is overdue! : For us, this restaurant was in all respects one of the most authentic restaurants in the whole of Tuscany, far away from many touristy Pudelwohl-Athmos locations.
The “dusty, outdated” is also part of it. It was always clean, even in the spirit of real gastronomic culture! Truly good, simple home-made housewife food made from good regional ingredients! It's a shame that this unique event can no longer be continued (!)
- But the memory of it remains! Mille Grazie

21/07/2024: The best lunch in Montepulciano. The tagliare board of meats and cheeses is unreal. Their sandwiches and bruschetta are amazing as well. Very friendly staff - Silvia and Sanchez are fabulous people! Also a great place to stop in the morning for a coffee and a pastry!
14/02/2024: Experiência bastante desagradável. A mulher loira que atende as mesas é extremamente mal educada e dedutivamente não sabe lidar com o público. O ápice do mal atendimento foi o momento em que pedi azeite e ela apontou para o prato, indicando que já tinha um pouco e que não precisaria de mais. Quando eu disse que era para colocar no pão, algo extremamente comum em qualquer lugar do mundo, ela soltou um alto e forte “urgh” e fez uma cara de nojo inacreditável. Mas não parou por aí. Ela foi buscar o vidro de azeite e perguntou onde no prato era para colocar e ela mesma colocou um pouco e não me deixou colocar a quantidade que eu queria. Eu fiquei profundamente insatisfeito com o comportamento dela e perguntei qual era o nome do restaurante. Ela disse que não tinha nome. Depois disse que era para fazer uma avaliação e foi aí que ela disse que o restaurante não estava no TripAdvisor. Ainda bem que ela mentiu e o restaurante esta aqui para que eu possa dividir essa experiência desastrosa com outros viajantes.
