07/04/2024: Unfortunately they prove to be incompetent and unprofessional.
4 ice creams and a coffee, start of the season, half empty place, 45 minutes of waiting, a Basilio, a coffee and water on me, €30 for laundry.
Unqualified and rude staff.
A breakfast costing €45 for terrible service.
Not even an apology or a discount for the inconvenience created.

Very nice location with external seats overlooking the sea and internal seats
The diner I ate at was good and so was the granita, the croissants had a spectacular smell and invited you to eat them
I highly recommend
The price is in line with other bars, in fact perhaps slightly less expensive

03/05/2024: it was like taking a leap back to the past 20 years!!.. the gentleman at the checkout, annoyed, made some jokes of little moral value ONLY because I paid with the card (€14.50!!!).. as soon as the checkout was over my transaction with a DIY card wrote "pos fault". Shame.
02/05/2024: The gentleman at the checkout got annoyed because I paid with the card but what was even sadder was that immediately after I paid he put a card with post failure written on it... In 2024 seeing certain things gives me shivers

03/04/2024: Unbelievably rude staff and slow service. Sicily is such a wonderful country - but this cafe was the worst experience . When our coffees didn’t arrive after what seemed a very long time, we went to investigate, only to be told they don’t wait on tables. So we asked where were the coffees any way ? They weren’t on the counter. We were told no one wants to works there so they can’t get the staff so what are they supposed to do ? Well, no wonder if you are that rude to your customers ! There are plenty of cafes with polite and happy staff - just avoid this place. No apology and no attempt to get our coffees !

I don't recommend iris, the chocolate is very acidic, big disappointment.
The granita is nothing special, there are definitely better bars a short distance away.

05/02/2024: I have been to this bar several times, everything is good, from the pastries to the ice cream, from breakfast to the snack bar, the service is the icing on the cake, in particular Grazia, the counter attendant... very kind and friendly, today it is not It's easy to find people like that, polite and thoughtful towards customers, congratulations indeed, Grazia is truly the best!

17/03/2024: Rapporto qualità prezzo pessimo…casualmente abbiamo deciso di pranzare nello storico bar Ernesto,8 euro per una micro cotoletta di pollo piena d’aglio (chissà per coprire quale sapore)e 4,50 a parte per due misere fette di melanzane arrostite ed una di radicchio,una rapina!in trattoria avremmo speso sicuramente meno e mangiato meglio,anziché sapori da gastronomia di basso livello.
18/02/2024: Tavola calda pessima . Abbiamo preso arancini e pizzette erano crudi. Per non parlare dei prezzi esagerati. Servizio pessimo. Bagni sporchi.

06/01/2024: We stayed in the farmhouse on the night of December 31st, between the old and new years.
We couldn't have made a better choice!
Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail: from the delicious dinner to the end/beginning of the year party with DJ set.
The friendliness and kindness of the staff made us feel welcome and pampered.
In a word: recommended.

27/04/2024: I only give 5 stars because there are no more, we were welcomed as if we were friends, the dishes were explained to us one by one, with even a hint of the recipe, in practice they made us "live" the real traditional Sicilian cuisine, the dishes were simply amazing, we rediscovered flavors from childhood, tastes and aromas that our grandmothers made us try on Sundays, the bill more than commensurate with what we ate. And at the end, as a treat, a splendid and engaging tour of the Randazzo districts, with absolutely non-didactic explanations of the history of the city, thanks to you and in particular to Davide

I stopped in these bars to have something to eat... And I chose to eat an arancini. I had never made it, a rice porridge, with very little sauce, without meat, without peas, without saffron. And thank goodness that arancini are part of our tradition... but perhaps whoever prepared them doesn't know it. Terrible ended up in the garbage
