19/08/2025: An absolutely welcoming place in a village with typical architecture and ancient basalt walls.
The village's history is linked to the construction of the dam (dismantled and rebuilt identically to prevent it from being submerged by the waters and disappearing).
The owner welcomes you in Italian and English and offers a double menu.
The local products are divine, a visual delight and a taste explosion.
The presentation is perfect.
Meals can be enjoyed indoors or outdoors, and the humorous wall decor will delight you.
The terrace is unique; I invite you to visit.
The prices are very affordable, the plates are generous, and the glasses are well-filled with house beer or local wine.

13/07/2025: We made a reservation on the recommendation of our landlady. Excellent service, not intrusive, always present and attentive. The food was delicious and excellent. A good wine selection, fish, meat, and pizza. Excellent value for money.
10/07/2025: Intrigued by the many positive reviews (which I confirm) I booked for my wife and our two children, welcomed by the very kind staff we sit in an elegant covered veranda surrounded by windows that look out onto a colorful green area full of flowers and hedges, I ate a tender and tasty rare rib eye, despite our children being a little "noisy" the staff did not make us feel out of place or uncomfortable, I thank the staff of this elegant place for making me spend a wonderful evening

12/08/2025: We visited this restaurant with high expectations, thanks to the meticulously presented, almost gourmet-style dishes. Unfortunately, the aesthetics weren't enough to save the dining experience.
We ordered spaghetti allo scoglio, but the dish was deeply disappointing: bland flavor, lacking character, and a sauce that was far too reminiscent of frozen supermarket sauce. It had nothing to do with the freshness and complexity a seafood first course should offer.
Also noteworthy was the wait: despite the extremely kind and professional wait staff, we had to wait almost an hour for our first course. This is a difficult wait to justify, especially considering the final quality of the food.
A real shame, because the service is undoubtedly the restaurant's strong point. With more attention in the kitchen—both in the choice of ingredients and in managing the time—this restaurant could truly take a leap forward.
02/08/2025: A quiet little place with a friendly owner. Super fresh fish. The €35 menu with six appetizers and a choice of first or second course is recommended.
We chose the Carloforte bluefin tuna, which was truly special.
Highly recommended.

13/08/2025: At first glance, Hotel Mistral 2 in Oristano may seem like a large, unassuming building, but behind its exterior lies an excellent establishment. The free underground parking is very convenient, and the restaurant is truly excellent, both for the quality and the generous portions of the dishes. The recently renovated rooms are modern, welcoming, and comfortable. In the summer, the pool is a strategic addition for relaxing and cooling off. A stay that fully deserves a 5⭐.

29/07/2025: Ottimo sempre affidabile, personale cortese e presente. La cucina sempre di ottimo livello. Mi mancano i polpi alla diavola ma è un mio desiderio nostalgico. I vini sempre tanti e con continue novità anche per i piccoli produttori. Giancarlo sempre vigile e severo nel controllo della cucina e del servizio. Ormai sono circa trent’anni che vado e mantiene una qualità costante nel tempo.
27/07/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo in questo ristorante. Ambiente della sala un po’ angusto però il personale è gentile e gli chef hanno una buona mano in cucina.
Nonostante ciò e la cordialità, c’è un errore imperdonabile che è stato commesso e che non si può non evidenziare .
Abbiamo preso spaghetti all’aragosta che è stata cucinata e presentata al tavolo senza essere prima pesata e mostrata a noi clienti. Quando si servono prodotti di lusso che hanno un costo legato al loro peso, tutto il pescato va preso e portato al tavolo, pesato in modo da consentire ai commensali di scegliere il prodotto e la pezzatura di riferimento.
Non abbiamo la certezza che l’aragosta servita sia stata presa dalla vasca in esposizione e che il peso pagato sia quello realistico del prodotto servito e questa purtroppo è una mancanza grave in un ristorante che vanta nei modi e nelle dinamiche un servizio raffinato. Non so se ritorneremo…ma un suggerimento ad una correttezza maggiore sento di darlo.

05/08/2025: We stopped by during a bike tour. The owner was fantastic and served us a huge salad, followed by local cured meats and cheeses. It was a shame we ran out, but we'll always remember the taste.
Excellent beer and a great price.
I recommend anyone passing by to stop by.

04/05/2025: Siamo stati al ristorante Leopardi per un pranzo, spinti dalla curiosità e dalle recensioni positive. Il mix di antipasti è stato discreto, senza sapori particolarmente distintivi. Una nota positiva va alle cozze con cipolla rossa: ben abbinate, anche se le cozze erano piuttosto piccole.
Il primo piatto è stato deludente, soprattutto perché nel menù erano segnalati i gamberi rossi, che però non erano presenti nel piatto. Anche sul fronte dolci, niente di particolare da segnalare. La location è semplice, non particolarmente curata o d’atmosfera.
Il prezzo è nella media, ma nel complesso l’esperienza non mi ha entusiasmato al punto da voler tornare. Un pranzo sufficiente, ma senza spunti davvero convincenti.

28/09/2024: Una piacevolissima scoperta! Nonostante l'ora tarda, siamo stati accolti davvero come a casa, gustando un tagliere di ottimi prodotti locali. Ottima anche la scelta dei vini. Da tornarci sicuramente!
