07/04/2026: Beautiful venue in the city center. The cocktails are excellent, and the platter is delicious. It offers excellent aperitifs, as well as a good coffee service and much more. TOP staff! Highly recommended!

04/01/2026: Historic bar, you can breathe history inside, delicious focaccia, just like in Liguria, kind and friendly staff.

13/05/2026: So, yes, we sit down. I understand that time passes slowly here. We wait patiently, and after a while, we ask the waiter for a menu, which was a mistake. From then on, he ignores us, serving others who arrived much later. Any attempts to ask for a menu are met with a huff and a squeal. After another long moment, the young waiter is clearly nursing his insecurities because he's not going to bother with a tourist. Unfortunately, our patience has run out; we'll eat elsewhere. And I salute the waiter with a complex. Just read my hundreds of reviews from around the world. I travel professionally and try not to leave negative reviews, but not this time.

04/05/2026: A truly pleasant café, ideal for both a quick breakfast and a more relaxed break during the day. The place is clean, tidy, and has a very pleasant atmosphere. I particularly appreciated the courtesy of the staff and the quality of the products, all fresh and well-prepared. Quick service and fair prices.

24/11/2025: 1. There was nothing to eat, no hot chocolate, and I don't have any bitter ginseng, not even muffins. 2. The coffee was bad, it was watery. 3. The waitress snorted at us when we asked, "So what do you have?" because the table was dirty and there was no menu.

29/09/2025: We made it our mission to try as many gelateria shops in Ostuni as we could, and while they started to taste the same, this shop was an exception. Staff were super friendly, and the taste and texture of their gelato was excellent! Highly recommend, worth the walk up the steps to the top of Ostuni to enjoy their many sweet treats while enjoying the beautiful view!

02/11/2025: This is a review for both Noir restaurant and Nautilus fish shop, but I have had to change the wording as Google won’t allow the exact same review for both. We started at Nautilus and chose our seafood - salmon, octopus and porgy. We then asked for all to be grilled and served to us in Noir, which was a bit tricky to communicate initially. The Nautilus people could not have been more friendly and helpful. They helped us select fish and suggested alternates. Which given we didn’t speak Italian, and their English was ok, worked surprisingly well. We then went to Noir. Not much atmosphere, and even though there were only 4 other tables, our meal took a very long time to prepare. Half the main serves came out in around 15 minutes with the side courses, then the rest around 30 minutes after that. The waitstaff seemed pretty disinterested or busy in other things, and we had to ask for things a few times. Overall, the seafood was super fresh and tasty, but the clunky restaurant service meant it didn’t work well for a larger group of 6. The restaurant ambience is also pretty basic. These things considered, the meal was definitely very expensive for what it was. We saw some other customers with lobster pasta - and had we known better and /or chosen better that’s definitely what we would have tried. Recommend booking as the fish shop seems to close around 8, so the restaurant also finishes up quite early.
