Definitely recommended if you want good food, at a fair price, and in a great location!
20/12/2025: I've been going to this place for years and always liked it. Unfortunately, not this time: the outdoor seating was cold, the waiters kept turning the heating on and off; the trio of burgers wasn't available (on a Saturday night at 8 PM?!); there was no option to replace the dippers with sweet potato fries, not even for a surcharge, but only as an addition to the main course.

The staff is very friendly.

31/12/2025: I generally like Medieval, but I went back for the last time after a year's absence and had an unpleasant surprise: the meat isn't the same anymore :( The meat schnitzel used to be a real piece of meat... now it's a store-bought thing made of meat assembled in layers. Come on guys, you can't get ahead by lowering the quality of the products!!
The extra star is for the service and the aesthetics of the place.
PS: Tartare lovers: don't order it! They make it with ground beef, not hand-minced meat.
04/09/2025: We had a wonderful experience this evening at this restaurant, chosen solely for the smell emanating from outside.
Highly recommended.

02/05/2025: Ottimo caffè, bar nei pressi Castello, antica arredamento. Al banco buone spiegazioni e approfondimenti sulle miscele. Tavoli all’aperto e saletta interna.
18/11/2024: È uno dei locali più storici della città alle porte del castello con rapporto prezzo giusto ma pecca nel servizio quando le persone sono un po’ più del solito …si può gestire meglio per il resto lo consiglio sia per i dolci che per i piatti di cucina
