15/12/2024: Nice cozy place for me rustic with a fantastic fireplace with a beautiful cellar (under finishing) and in my opinion it will be a spectacle in the end. EXCELLENT traditional Piedmontese dishes, delicious wines (I drank sparkling Arneis for an aperitif and still Arneis during dinner. It must be beautiful outside in spring and summer with a beautiful view (I went in the evening and there was a bit of fog) .Matteo (that's what I call the innkeeper) very kind, knowledgeable about wines, impeccable service, good girl who brought the dishes. I'll be back, guys, try it, you'll have a peaceful evening and then if you lift your elbow a little you can go to sleep there. Unfortunately I don't have photos of the dishes, thanks Matteo for your kindness. IMPORTANT THING THE 4-LEGGED FRIEND IS WELCOME, but they don't give him wine. Happy Holidays to everyone

13/01/2025: Il locale è molto suggestivo, per entrare si scende una scalinata che porta in una vecchia cantina ristrutturata con maestria, prevalentemente cucina piemontese, tutto ciò che abbiamo assaggiato era ben cucinato, avremmo voluto poter fare un assaggio di tutto !! ottimo anche il barbera della casa. 30/12/2024: Fresh pasta was super delicious! The place is small and seems family owned, so you need a bit of time because they don’t have many people. We came without reservation and were very lucky to get a place, afterwards many people left without a seat ( so make sure to call in advance for a reservation). Definitely recommend it!

31/08/2024: A great little panificio that makes things fresh on site! If you want a cornetto (Italian croissant) filled with chocolate or pistachio, they do it for you fresh there and then. All the sweet treats are amazing and fresh as is the bread. There is a small selection of other things in the fridges available, drinks, cheese and meats. The staff are friendly and chatty and do speak a little English, the prices are extremely reasonable, I cannot recommend this place highly enough.

26/12/2024: Elegant and well-kept location, friendly welcome, punctual and attentive service, refined cuisine with local proposals such as an excellent crunchy and dry frittomisto, a truly rich wine list in its assortment. An excellent point of reference for those who appreciate traditional dishes, located on the hills of Asti and easily reachable from Turin. Recommended for the quality/price ratio and the courtesy of all the staff.

15/12/2024: We were in this restaurant about ten years ago, I have always had excellent memories. Unfortunately today we were not satisfied I found the prices very high for the portions received and no longer the quality of the past 😥

30/04/2024: Scoperto così per caso, aperitivo con una collega che ci era già stata a cui era piaciuto molto. La scelta è stata facile per festeggiare il compleanno di mio marito con gli amici più stretti. Come essere in famiglia!!!! Se ci ritornerei.?...Anche subito! abbondanza e cordialità rendono l'atmosfera del Cappelaio Matto Caffè incantevole. Ivana

02/12/2024: Siamo arrivati casualmente e ci hanno accolto subito con molta gentilezza e indicando, per correttezza, eventuali tempi "lunghi" di attesa (20-30 minuti). Accettiamo comunque di entrare e ci siamo sentiti subito a casa. Piatti molto buoni e interessanti, anche seguendo i suggerimenti del padrone di casa! Rapporto qualità/prezzo corretto! Da sottolineare anche la buona selezione di vini e la descrizione degli stessi da parte dell'oste!

01/12/2024: Trattoria di cucina familiare con eccellenti materie prime. Menù corto ed originale, pieno di sapori del territorio. Il rapporto con i clienti è attento e premuroso: qui regna la gentilezza. Da consigliare senza alcun dubbio.
