12/10/2025: This restaurant is located in the center of Fano, within the city walls. Upon entering, you'll be transported to the atmosphere of old-time Fano, with numerous photos depicting what was once one of the most important seaports in ancient times. In addition to the main dining room, the restaurant also offers another dining room on the lower ground floor. All the ingredients are fresh and homemade (the fish is truly excellent). I had the pleasure of trying a first course (ravioli) with prawns and vegetables, which was truly superb, and a swordfish steak with grilled vegetables. All this was accompanied by two glasses of Bianchello del Metauro wine. To finish, dessert was a must (the photo speaks for itself) and a typical Fano moretta. I can't wait to return to try everything else. Excellent prices, in my opinion. See you soon, and congratulations!

11/10/2025: Discovered by chance...and it was the best discovery...it had been years since I had eaten such a good plate of pasta...excellent food, fresh and tasty, wonderful staff, and amazing service....my compliments, really!
08/10/2025: September 28, 2025, during the Flower Festival in Fano, we stopped for a quick bite at the Dardari Bistro. We were welcomed and pampered by Francesca, a wonderful hostess who explained the tradition of each course: homemade Ascoli olives, truly delicious. Next, we had focaccias stuffed with one meat and one seafood, excellent ingredients! Completely satisfied! If you're passing through Fano, stop by—you won't regret it!

21/09/2025: We spontaneously wandered in from the beach on a Saturday evening: A top-notch host who read our hunger like a palmist at a fair. Whether antipasti, first courses, or second courses, everything was a perfect match for our tastes. And the service team was always attentive and courteous. On top of that, we found the whole experience to be excellent value for money. Thank you, Felix, for the highlight of a nearly perfect day.
21/09/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Felix Taverna dei Pescatori – Let Yourself Be Guided The first thing I asked for when ordering was my usual spaghetti with clams. The owner, Felix, with his fake-gruff demeanor, rolled his eyes and replied, "More!? We have them if you want, but today we have this. Trust me." Faced with my insistence, he turned to my girlfriend: "From now on, I'll only talk to you, not to him." So they chose the dishes. We started with a small appetizer: boiled mantis shrimp, delicious, plus a seafood tramezzino, which I ate on faith. For me, spaghetti with pesto and Sorrento lemon zest, imposed by the two people behind me. For her, fusilloni with zucchini and zucchini flowers stuffed with mussels. A perfect blend of sea and land, accompanied by an excellent bottle of Arneis. It was pleasant to be there, in that spot next to the harbor, on a beautiful day when, around 1 pm, we could enjoy a cool breeze coming from the sea. A lunch that wasn't just food, but an experience. We didn't eat anything else today, but this review is also an opportunity to take stock of another dinner a few days ago. And precisely because we had such a good time the other evening—I think it was Wednesday—we returned. On Wednesday, we were greeted with an appetizer, again with mantis shrimp, and with gratinated mussels, which I'm fond of (I'm a creature of habit). Then, after requesting the usual roast sea bass, the owner "scolded" me, pointing out that, since the fishing ban had ended just the day before, the sea had yielded the best there was on the market and that eating a training fish was crazy. So we ate a mixed grill of monkfish, sole, uniquely delicious calamari, and more. In their simplicity, it was like eating the sea. The lemon? Felix replied, "It's just for garnish. It's not used on good fish." It was a sublime evening, too. Felix's friendliness makes everything more authentic; the courtesy of his wife, who, alongside him, does the hosting for every table, makes you feel welcomed like family. And then the waiters, chosen from among the young men from Fano who are eager to gain experience: with their good-natured manner, they immediately put you at ease, as if the person serving you were the son of a family friend or a nephew. And as soon as you enter, you understand that the experience at Felix Taverna dei Pescatori is different: the two signs at the entrance say it all. "If you're in a hurry, this is not your restaurant" and "Here we cook, not bake." Two signs that make you smile, but they perfectly capture the spirit of the place: here, the weather is right for real cooking, not for reheating something in a pan. Eventually, I realized that those signs weren't a warning, but a promise. A promise kept.

08/07/2025: Nuestra primera impresión del restaurante fue entrar al comedor al aire libre detrás del restaurante. El ruido del tráfico se desvanecía y los exuberantes jardines de arbustos y las cortinas de techo creaban la atmósfera de un cenador en una finca rural donde podían reunirse familias numerosas. El personal fue amable y atento al explicarnos el menú y hacer ajustes para que nuestras comidas fueran exactamente lo que queríamos. Los ingredientes eran frescos y locales, la preparación era sabrosa e inventiva, y la presentación era excelente. Toda la experiencia fue relajada y relajante. Fue una comida memorable.

10/09/2025: A bar I've been frequenting for a week. I have to say my experience has been negative. Staff: No, not at all. Always busy on their phones. Coffee is not good at all. Otherwise, there could be a little improvement. For those with disabilities, please note that the restrooms are not accessible. STAIRS.
21/08/2025: This week in Fano, I had the pleasure of visiting this café and pastry shop, and it quickly became my go-to. The counter staff is incredibly kind, always smiling and helpful, even at peak times: a welcome that truly makes a difference, and the waitress is also very helpful. The cappuccino is simply perfect, creamy and uniquely flavorful—I'd say the best I've ever had. The pastry shop is rich and well-stocked at all hours, with a variety of fresh desserts that make you want to return every day. It's a shame there isn't a pastry shop so close to home: it would be a daily temptation! This place is definitely worth a visit, and I recommend it to anyone in Fano.

26/10/2025: It's a heavy heart for me to write about this disappointment. We came to buy half a kilo of pastries and two trays of marron glacé; I'm well-known for the quality of this pastry shop, so I have nothing to complain about. Unfortunately, the lack of customer service and the pettiness of the owners (who try to charge you 3.50 each for 15 marrons because 100/kg apparently doesn't seem enough to them!) have led me to decide not to return! What a shame!

RISTORANTINO DA SANTIN BRACERIA

29/08/2024: A Fano si mangia ottimo pesce. Ma se volete il massimo c’è un solo posto: il Ristorantino da Santin. Il pesce è freschissimo e pescato nel mare lì di fronte. E il titolare/cuoco, Stefano, è uno che al pesce dà del tu: sa come esaltare una materia prima di qualità. Ci siamo stati tre volte: nonostante il fermo-pesca abbiamo mangiato dei tagliolini al sugo di pesce squisiti , un gratinato con capesante, cozze, razza e mazzancolle memorabile, un carapaccio di pescespada (appena pescato, sentita la telefonata al peschereccio la sera prima) e una tartare di tonno sublime, spaghettoni alle vongole con una quantità di vongole buonissime esagerata. Peccato non essere riusciti a passare l’ultima sera del soggiorno fanese, perché volevo provare i ravioli alla ricciola. Ma tanto torneremo…
