14/09/2025: I ordered a cake for my daughter's birthday the day before. When I picked it up, I had delegated someone else. Surprise, the cake wasn't there! They said the cake for my daughter's birthday (8 years old) had fallen, so they had to wait to assemble a new cake, right there and then. Baked and eaten! In fact, it wasn't edible because the sponge cake and the soft cream had dried out, despite having put it in the freezer for an hour as they recommended. Obviously, full price, no discount. In fact, before delegating someone else to pick it up, I called and asked for the price, which I had been quoted as €74, and when I paid, it no longer showed the price. I paid €80 (there was a maritozzo with Nutella and a 1.5 kg cake). What can I say: There is an absolute lack of seriousness and professionalism on the part of the employees, but also of the owner, given that he manages it. It's a shame because the quality could be there, but the management is terrible.

19/09/2025: Probably the best pastry shop in town! The pastries and brioches are delicious, full of filling, but above all, you can taste they're artisanal, made fresh. It's also the only café that serves oat cappuccino (which from now on will be the only one I'll drink, because it's excellent). In short, not everyone can finally offer a good variety for those who can't drink cow's milk. The staff is also simply fantastic: kind, attentive, and helpful, always with a smile. The only downside is that the place is a bit small and sometimes there's no seating (especially in the summer), but it's worth it in the end!

05/09/2025: Excellent croissant dough. The only flaw: it's too small; I could have easily eaten two! The cappuccino is good, and the atmosphere is cozy and familiar.

15/08/2025: I'm from Genoa but I often go to Ascoli Piceno. Bar Sestili offers high-quality cocktails and exquisite cuisine. Lately, I've preferred it to the larger, more well-known establishments in and around Piazza del Popolo. But they're not real competitors; Bar Sestili has carved out its own character. With a relatively small interior and a couple of nice tables just outside, it also boasts additional tables in the square.
