Abbiamo scelto tutti la selezione di antipasti (30 euro) molto ben assortita che ci ha soddisfatto e appagato per qualità e quantità. Non abbiamo preso altro ma mi hanno "intrigato" i maccheroncini di Campofilone ai frutti di mare e tornerò per degustarli.

31/01/2025: You are greeted by the very kind Maitre at the entrance. The structure, although apparently quite dated, is very well maintained and indicates that the business has been there for many years, a sign that the family that runs it works excellently. The interior is also well heated. 2 of us consumed 2 rounds of appetizers, 1 tempura, 1 first course and a second course which we didn't finish. The portions are generous. Good food and good value for money. The staff in the dining room are super courteous and attentive. Advise!

27/12/2024: Restaurant on the avenue that leads to Montemonaco (practically in the centre). Marche and Sardinian cuisine, superb quality, excellent prices! We two had an appetizer "la tavernetta" and a portion of fried pecorino, then a chef's tagliatelle and a bagel, all excellent! (crostini with colonella lard, wow) We will certainly return to two young restaurateurs who convey emotion and dedication in what they bring to the table!!

24/12/2024: Extreme rudeness and arrogance of the owner and the staff who, instead of knowing how to deal with customers following their failure to prepare an order, treat them like a fish (not to mention the racism demonstrated, and I speak as an ITALIAN). I regret leaving him my money

07/01/2025: Quiet and relaxing, the second New Year's Eve here in Chiaraluce is even more appreciated than last year, you feel at home. The hosts are super kind and helpful and Miguel is an excellent cook, he delighted us with new and very good dishes. We stayed for 3 days and on this occasion we could visit Ascoli Piceno, beautiful with Christmas markets and the Church of S. Emidio with a nativity scene inside a cave. Thanks to Miguel and Claudia and their beautiful children.

16/08/2024: I have been going to this place for many years now as it was also my dad's favourite. Strategic "cooling" point for the summer heat. Exquisite first courses. Aperitifs always at the top with Stefano who doesn't miss a beat. Honest prices. Kind, polite and professional.

07/09/2024: But I have to say that I haven't had a pizza this good in a long time. With €15 we did the pizza tour but with small children to manage in the end we ate a pizza each 🤣🤣🤣 and the owners were very kind and didn't charge the girls. Crispy but nice stuffed pizza. The seafood pizza was amazing with lots of fish on it. The one with pistachio and mortadella is also very good. I recommend this pizzeria. If I'm not mistaken they do the pizza round twice a week and I've seen many customers also take the kebabs which are served in an earthenware container. We'll be back!!!

14/01/2025: Immediately after lunch, we decided to go for a coffee and a bitter to digest. As soon as we entered, we were ignored for about ten minutes, after which the bartender asked: "do you take it here or at the table?" We decide on table service, unaware of everything that was about to happen. Once seated, total blackout. After 5 minutes the lights come back on and our order arrives. The environment is decidedly shabby, so much so that, as soon as we entered to pay, there was the waiter who was energetically spreading the cocoa butter, without giving a damn about us, a loose dog and a lady behind the counter who carelessly prepared a tray of pastries by taking them and moving them with your hands. I asked for the bill for 3 coffees and a simple amaro, the price was 10 euros, not even in Tornino in Maestro Iginio Massari's pastry shop did I pay this ridiculous amount. Going outside, the tables were full of walking pigeons and icing sugar from breakfast, a lady was having an aperitif with one of these birds, perched on the table and trying to steal her very expensive food. To conclude this terrifying experience, a group of 5 pigeons, flying, created a cloud of dirt and germs that we had to breathe. NEVER AGAIN!

23/12/2024: Super cool pub/beer hall in Ascoli, very reminiscent of Mikkeller in SF or London. The Mina Blanche is stellar, highly recommended!

10/02/2025: Just had a lovely hot latte €1.40. Lovely wine €5 and large beer €4. Had crisps & nuts at night with drinks. Great clean toilets. Beautiful views with out door seating. Lovely decor inside. Friendly service. Apart from guy on Sunday. Could even smile. Otherwise staff were friendly.
