24/05/2025: Small place and therefore not very crowded. Few tables and quite far from each other, which avoids having to hear the chatter of other guests.
Very kind service and rather simple dishes, but very tasty. I would go back without a doubt.
19/05/2025: A small but fine restaurant. The dishes on offer not only sound good, they also taste excellent. The service was very attentive, and the ambiance was just what you'd expect from a good Italian restaurant. We'd be happy to return.

11/05/2025: Since we discovered it, La Rucola has quickly risen to the top of the list of our favorite restaurants/trattorias. Genuine and traditional dishes, welcoming atmosphere, you feel like you're at your mother's or grandmother's house (the kind who know how to cook). Special honorable mention for the homemade watermelon jam, to be enjoyed with ricotta or squacquerone. 😍 But it's really worth trying the whole menu at least once.

31/05/2025: Wow what a restaurant. We went for 2 nights . We would have gone the 3rd night but it was closed. All dishes we had both nights were absolutely fabulous. The staff were all very friendly despite the place being so busy. It was not expensive for the standard of food served. It is advisable to book though as it is very busy . Even tough it is busy you are not rushed. Absolutely fabulous place.
30/05/2025: The best dinner experience on our visit in Sirmione. Food was excellent and the service was just top-notch.
Food came to the table just on the right time. Not too long wait times but not too fast either.
Our waiter Mimmo was really good and really pleasent.
I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys excellent food, service and value.

15/05/2025: Staying at the Hotel Riel and had our first evening meal here. We were seated promptly and enjoyed a complimentary Prosecco while choosing from the menu. Service was quick and the food was lovely.

06/06/2025: They were friendly and gave a complementary pickle dish, the bread was good but for €10 coperto, it’s minimum expectation. Very limited vegetarian options, they made me a very average tomato pasta, unfortunately tasted of truffle which I thoroughly dislike, I think this was transferred from my partner’s truffle pasta.
My partner truffle pasta was ok
I’ve had better and paid considerably less.
30/05/2025: Food was delicious but overpriced. And it’s 5 euros per person coperta. The starter made from eggs, cheese and truffles is super good!

Excellent and fresh dishes, good value for money for the area: We took 2 first courses and a shared second course, half a prosecco, 1 water and 2 coffees.. spent €83
I recommend it. Satisfied!
01/06/2025: Excellent service, coupled with delicious, refined, and very creative cuisine. Highly recommended, and we'll be going back tomorrow.

23/05/2025: Unfortunately, I can't understand the consistently positive reviews. The value for money is disappointing, and the quality of the food and drinks left much to be desired. According to the menu, a quarter of Lambrusco should cost €5, but they served only an eighth. When I asked about this, the waiter brushed this off. They also charged a coperto of €3.50 per person, which is unjustified given the service provided.
18/05/2025: The food is incredible, we ordered beef ravioli, trout, and the Caesar salad. Everything was incredible.

A non-alcoholic mojito costs the same as a glass of expensive wine, it’s just an outright deception. For a mojito 12 euros - more expensive than in a restaurant🤦♀️

18/05/2025: We ate 3 main courses and a pizza and we ate well, we found a bottle of water expensive at 3.50 and the house prosecco at 19 euros brought in a carafe without product details
18/05/2025: We went there for a quick family lunch without a reservation and that's it! Fast service, good food quality, great price for being a stone's throw from the center of Sirmione, convenient because it also has parking. Tasty grilled salmon steak, excellent pizza, good spaghetti with clams, I also recommend the mussel sauté, one of the best! Recommended for quality, price and location!
