The girl who served us seemed distracted and in a hurry, maybe even a little annoyed, in her haste she must have gotten confused (even though everyone was more or less already served at the adjacent and internal tables) bringing me the wrong fruit juice, but it doesn't matter! Human error happens, something that must have been forgotten when my mother, in a moment of distraction, lit a cigarette on the veranda not seeing the sign that prohibited it, immediately apologizing and leaving as soon as she was informed of the transgression. I was sorry to see the arrogance with which the barmaids later voluntarily delayed the delivery of the rest of our order (a simple arancini that shouldn't have taken more than a quarter of an hour to be heated and served, as instead happened), responding with a "ah you don't want it anymore? Perfect!" Loudly when we ran out of time to wait to be served and we cancelled the rest of the order All in all a very bad experience, which shows the lack of professionalism and courtesy of the staff (it's easy to be nice to those we like!), a great shame for the products that I repeat, are excellent, and overall a real shame for the values ​​of the sector and especially of Sicily! 02/08/2025: Primo pomeriggio di un sabato, al tavolo ordiniamo due caffè, un cappuccino e una brioche vuota. Siamo tra i ben pochi avventori all'interno ma la giovane cameriera si scorda di portare la brioche, tra l'altro non esattamente fragrante e dobbiamo ricordarle di farlo. Al momento dell'ordinazione chiediamo anche una bustina di edulcorante, ma la cameriera non sa cosa sia... Vabbè che sulle relative bustine sta scritto "dolcificante"... Tempo fa in questo locale storico del centro di Brescia avevamo fatto un'esperienza positiva con un aperitivo, stavolta proprio no, proprio per il servizio fin troppo distratto.

01/08/2025: Una visita veloce in città durante una tiepida sera estiva. Cena e poi via in centro per un caffè. Eccolo! Il maestoso Caffè Impero! Sono le 21 circa. Chiediamo se possiamo accomodarci , siamo in due. Risposta no! 😂😂😂 penso ad uno scherzo visto l’orario di chiusura . Va bene, possiamo bere un caffè al banco? Risposta no! Mi metto a ridere sotto i baffi che non ho pensando veramente ad uno scherzo . Invece “ la macchina del caffè è già pulita, niente caffè “! 😂😂😂😂 Un caffè che non serve il caffè ! Grandi!

The staff are friendly and courteous, and things you won't find on the menu are a given here. The only problem? Having them near the new office; I expect to gain weight quickly.

31/05/2025: Lunch break with my daughter. We took two piadinas. 6.50 euros each but inside there was really little topping in general. My daughter's was missing an ingredient (the main one) and the bartender didn't even come to tell us... we found the piadina practically without toppings (2 lettuce leaves, 3 dried tomatoes and a shadow of fontina without the grilled aubergines that were supposed to be the main ingredient). When I asked to add something else she told me she didn't have anything... and the final price??? 1 EURO LESS ON THE TOTAL... SHAMEFUL!!! I paid but if it were up to me they could close today!

14/06/2025: I happened to be there twice and was told that they were closing the first time at 8pm and today at 6:32pm the girl with an always very rude air told me to leave even though there were two tables seated, probably they didn't communicate the summer hours but I must say the manners also leave a lot to be desired. I do the same job and I've never heard of early closings of 4 hours. Maybe one day I'll be able to sit down and try the food too.
