There's not much seating; I expected a much larger place. 😋
I wanted to try the granita in March because I'd heard good things about it. I tried the pistachio one, which was very good. The only problem was that it was hot inside and melted almost immediately, so it was very sweet when drunk. 😂
I really liked the ricotta they use for the sfogliatelle and cannoli. 🌟
The almond pastries were a little too sweet, but they're delicious. 🙂
The prices aren't cheap, of course, but for the quality, they're fair. 💐
The waitress was very nice and kind. 🌺

The granitas are excellent, as are the brioches, especially the one with a tuppo filling, a typical Sicilian treat. The coffee shop is top-notch. The girls who welcome customers are friendly and helpful.

We stopped for a quick breakfast. A wide selection of croissants, the cream was very fresh. The girl who served us at the cash register was very kind! Congratulations!

Pasticceria Etna has everything a classic pastry shop should have. The aroma fills the air as you enter, classic pastries displayed in a beautiful display case, and the staff are courteous. The Sicilian cannoli, cassatas, and babàs are, in my opinion, their strong points. It remains one of the few pastry shops to honor the tradition of making St. Joseph's zeppole on March 19th.

I've been going there several times a year for years...obviously for the granita.
After the change of management, I noticed the quality slightly declining over time.
The previous management was notable for its lack of courtesy towards customers despite serving a unique, quality product. This management, after a good initial approach, still lacks attention and smiles.
Over time, the situation has improved and stabilized. I'm editing my review.

Despite the small number of people in the restaurant, the service was very slow and inaccurate. The waitress got my order wrong and came to the table a couple of times, saying that some items I'd previously ordered would be ready in at least twenty minutes. So I changed the brioche I'd ordered and she brought me a nice, large cream brioche, and I waited for the rest of my orders to eat it. Unfortunately, she then came to the table with the other items and an extra cream brioche, so she took away the one she'd given me before (luckily I hadn't touched it yet). Honestly, for hygiene reasons first and foremost, something like this shouldn't happen. Also, there was a hair in the granita at the counter, which I discreetly pointed out to one of the girls.
Despite everything, I found the cannoli to be good, and the granita to be decent.

Famous in the city for its gtanitas, don't miss the chance to try them. Ditto for the arancini. Sometimes it's a bit crowded, but the quality of the products is worth the wait. Friendly staff! Remember to reserve the brioche if you're ordering more than 5 :D It's worth it.
