06/04/2026: I visited Docking 9 for a midweek lunch, and the atmosphere was truly perfect: just a few tables occupied, relaxing silence, and that sense of calm that lets you savor every moment, ideal for both a lunch for two and a leisurely meeting. As soon as you enter, you almost feel like you're stepping aboard: wood everywhere, nautical details, and large windows overlooking the sailboats docked on the Tiber. The light that enters is soft, reflecting on the water... creating an intimate atmosphere, with sparkling reflections moving throughout the room. The menu is entirely dedicated to the seafood. We started with the freshest Gillardeau oysters, followed by delicate sea bass sashimi on a bed of crispy puntarelli. The steamed octopus was tender, warm, and slightly moist. The star of this restaurant is the fish soup: it arrived steaming hot, thick, and filling. Each spoonful was rich and enveloping, with so many different types of fish. A dish that warms and satisfies you on its own. To finish, a chocolate brownie with a soft, intense center, perfect for leaving a sweet, deep note at the end of lunch. A place to slow down and let yourself be carried away... just like being on a boat, but with the right dish in front of you.

29/06/2025: I went there last night, but upon arrival I found another restaurant, with a different name and different management, where I ate badly, tasteless food and small portions.

05/05/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance the first time... and since then, it's become a pleasant habit to return! Every time, we find truly excellent dishes, prepared with quality ingredients. The added bonus? A fantastic team: friendly, welcoming, and always ready to put a smile on your face with a joke. A place where you eat well and feel at home. Highly recommended!

14/04/2026: I waited and thought long and hard before writing this review because, honestly, something like this had never happened to me. From the menu, I chose fettuccine with tuna ragù among the "specials of the day." The dish arrived, and the first thing I noticed was a generous sprinkling of parmesan cheese on top (even if I had, I'd be the one to decide whether or not to add it), and that already had me suspicious. I said, "Okay, maybe the chef would like to show me the cheese-fish combination." I put the first forkful of this fettuccine in my mouth, and my taste buds detected meat instead of fish. So I tried a second forkful and nothing. I had the person with me taste it, and ditto. There was absolutely no trace of fish or tuna in the sauce; I found the classic minced meat ragù. I thought I'd made the wrong order, and that can happen. I thought the waiter had misread the order, and that can happen. I thought the chef had misread the order, and that can happen. But instead, the owner, with great conviction, looked me in the eye and said, "I assure you, that's tuna ragù!" I've never had anything like that happen before. I'm still convinced I tasted a classic pasta with meat ragù for €20. I have photos of the dish, but unfortunately, they can't be published here, apparently.

06/04/2026: We've been in Fiumicino for years but had never been here, and it was a pleasant surprise. The Easter Monday set menu features excellent food and fresh fish. The preparation is meticulous, and the menu is excellent. The terrace overlooks the sea, the service is impeccable, and the service is prompt. We'll definitely be back.

16/03/2026: Unfortunately not good, good service, but an unsuccessful lunch, both with stomach ache and retching, I'm sorry there probably were some problems, but we didn't like it.

19/04/2026: Jair is a place we return to out of passion, to rediscover our signature dishes (the mixed antipasto and spaghetti with clams are superb) or to be tempted (the shrimp in filo pastry and tagliolini with shrimp and lime are a must-try). For us, every dish is a treat, in a welcoming, elegant, and relaxing atmosphere that we always love. And the prices...very fair! (€18 per person for the superb antipasto and around €15 for the first courses). Kudos to Ettore, the masterful director of everything!

14/04/2026: The bar is historic; everyone in Fiumicino knows it. Everything was delicious, but the blonde bartender was incredibly rude and unfriendly!

13/04/2026: I'd heard good things about it, but I was disappointed. I bought some miniature pastries; nothing special, decent, and definitely fresh, but I wouldn't go back. The person behind the dessert counter could be more welcoming; he seemed annoyed when we asked about the flavors of the various miniature pastries, since it was our first time there.

12/04/2026: Nothing special at all...the service staff were welcoming and helpful, as was the owner, but I wasn't thrilled with the food. My scampi cream risotto was bland, watery, and lacking in body. The cooking was more fiery than expected.

06/04/2026: It was definitely one of the restaurants that left me, my wife, and our daughter most satisfied. Despite the large number of guests, it was an overall excellent experience, both in terms of taste and service. We ate seafood: appetizers and first courses were generous in quantity and exquisite in quality and freshness. The mussel sauté was excellent, so much so that our daughter even mopped up the dish. The dishes were also beautifully presented, with the chef's skill and expertise. As for the service, there was no excruciating wait, and indeed, the smile of the waiter who served us was remarkable, which is not easy to find these days among those who work in what is undoubtedly a demanding profession. The attention to detail in the ambiance and the spacious, clean, and hygienically impeccable bathrooms round out a truly positive experience. Highly recommended for those who want a family atmosphere while enjoying excellent seafood. The menu prices are in line with the quality and quantity of the food. UPDATE APRIL 6, 2026 An Easter Monday filled with excellent food in both quality and quantity, fast and friendly service, and professionalism—everything you'd expect from an excellent restaurant. I can only confirm and reiterate my already positive review from a year ago, adding the spectacular tagliolini with lobster, which were truly tasty and succulent. We enjoyed it so much that we couldn't help but mop up the bread for both the appetizer and the main course. I highly recommend this restaurant.

04/04/2026: We arrived at this restaurant after 10:00 PM, without a reservation and with little hope, but we were pleasantly surprised. Despite the time and the busy restaurant, our table was ready after just 5 minutes. ​There are three things that make this place truly special: ​Availability: The staff greeted us with a smile, making us feel immediately welcome despite the late hour. ​Speed: The service was lightning-fast! From the initial wait to the arrival of our dishes, the timing was perfectly managed. ​Quality: Despite the speed, no detail was overlooked. Excellent raw materials and carefully prepared dishes. ​It's rare to find such a perfect combination of efficiency and goodness. If you're looking for a place where you can feel pampered even after hours, this is the place for you. Highly recommended!
