19/01/2025: Very bad experience. Saturday evening at dinner with a friend, we ask for an appetizer with focaccia, two slices each of cold cuts and two and a half squares of focaccia arrive, I point out to the waitress the ridiculous portion and she confirms that it is so, to which after a few minutes I ask for a basket of bread (which she should have brought of her own accord given my observation). Followed by two pasta dishes. Horrible dinner, damp and cold environment, not even a heating turned on. The bill arrives... The two and a half pieces of focaccia cost 9 euros. I pay for what I get, I pay for the quality, I pay for the quantity, I pay for the location, I pay for the service and we received none of this. I'm sorry, you'll never see us again, we've been to many places and have never been treated like this.

03/02/2025: This morning I had the opportunity to have breakfast at Bar Sesta with a friend. Let me start by saying that this is not a place that I regularly frequent and the main reason is not the quality of the food, the pastries or the drinks, but the service. Ever since I was a child, I have noticed, not only me, but also my friends and many other people I know, that the staff at this bar adopt a different attitude depending on the age of the customers. When it comes to serving young people, the treatment appears hasty and disrespectful, while with adults the attitude changes radically, becoming much more cordial and attentive. Today, like other times in the past, I had the opportunity to experience it firsthand. I ordered a cappuccino and a croissant, while my friend got a macaron. After paying €4.30, we asked to move to the room adjacent to the counter, as I always did when I came with my parents. This time, however, the bartender informed me that I had to pay a fee to sit, something I had never been asked to do when I was with them. Before leaving, I politely asked for a bag to take away the croissant I hadn't finished. I politely addressed a lady who has worked there for a long time, probably one of the bar managers. Without even looking at me, she handed me the bag without even saying hello. A behavior which, once again, highlights the lack of attention and respect towards younger customers. It's not a bar I will return to and neither will my family. Today I only went there because two other places were closed, but this experience confirmed my doubts. I emphasize once again that my criticism is not about the quality of the products, but about the way the staff interacts with younger customers. This is just one example, but in general those of my generation are never satisfied with the treatment they receive here. It's a shame, because the bar has great potential, both for the location and the space available. However, I believe it is essential to review the attitude towards younger customers, who deserve the same respect and attention reserved for adults.
