09/11/2025: We were in Calabria for 24 hours, yet we ate at Osteria San Francesco twice. A friend recommended this restaurant to us, and I have to say it was one of the most beautiful and authentic experiences I'll ever remember in this region. The restaurant, run by two brothers, is small but very welcoming. The food is amazing, and Francesco is a truly friendly person. What I also really appreciated was the atmosphere in this restaurant: there are only a few seats, and the people at the various tables chat as if they've known each other forever. 31/08/2025: Lunch with friends: the place is welcoming, although it tends to be quite noisy when it reaches its maximum capacity. The staff was extremely kind and available to accommodate our requests. Good quality fish, the only reservation being the mixed seafood salad: compared to the other dishes, it was the least impressive. The seafood risotto was excellent, as was the linguine with clams.

25/10/2025: Pizza party with friends, preceded by an aperitif served in the entrance hall. The pizza was good and easy to digest, even though I had a "full" meal. The aperitif was accompanied only by a few chips, but the wine was good.

28/08/2025: It's with regret that I can't leave more than one review, for the wine selection, the sandwiches, the fried foods, and the food. Everything is WONDERFUL. Not to mention the hospitality and kindness of the owner and his family, wonderful people with whom it's a real pleasure to chat. Worthy of note: spaghetti with clams, fried calamari and shrimp, and the breaded fetta sandwich—handmade, not the industrial junk they dish out at other places. I'm just sorry that my work stint in Paola will soon take me away from here, because it would have been my favorite place.

21/09/2025: The quality of the fish is excellent. The service is professional, and the location is beautiful. A good selection of dishes, 4/5 of each type, without those endlessly long tourist menus. Prices are in line with seaside seafood restaurants. Highly recommended... And then, in mid-September, with the beach half-empty and the sea in front... peace of mind.

14/09/2025: Couple's dinner, we waited about 20 minutes to receive a menu, and another 40 minutes to order, excellent food and friendly staff but the organization absolutely needs to be reviewed, because you can't wait about 1 hour and 20 minutes from arrival to the first bite.

29/08/2025: I sat down at a table outside with a friend. Ten minutes passed (it was 10:30 in the morning) and no one came to take my order. I went inside, went to the cashier, and asked if I should get a receipt and order inside first. The guy curtly told me that the girl at the table outside would come to take our order. I sat down outside and waited. After another 10 minutes, no one had come. At this point, my friend and I got up and left. I don't think any of the staff noticed... kudos to you for the impeccable service... never again!

12/09/2025: Customers are friendly and helpful. Good quality food. Nice atmosphere, located very close to UNICAL, making it ideal for university students (and for interacting with colleagues). Recommended.
