04/06/2025: L'interno è piccolissimo ma all'esterno ci sono tanti tavoli sotto gli ombrelloni in una piazza molto gradevole. Il gelato è nella media come gusto, il costo del cono è di 3.50. il personale è gentile.

26/04/2025: Questa sera, nel dopo cena, ho deciso di fermarmi in questo bar. Ordino un tartufo nero: dopo un po' mi viene comunicato che non è disponibile, quindi sono costretto a ripiegare su un tartufo alla nocciola. Quando arriva il "tartufo", mi trovo davanti un prodotto completamente congelato, durissimo, evidentemente abbattuto a temperature molto inferiori allo zero. Faccio presente il problema al responsabile di sala, il quale, con assoluto menefreghismo, mi risponde che "è normale", che "la tipicità del tartufo di Chocolat è di servirlo così" e che "persino lui, quando lo ordina da cliente, deve aspettare 30 minuti prima di mangiarlo". Assurdo: a questo punto tanto vale comprarlo surgelato al supermercato. Quando faccio notare che mi aspettavo un tartufo come quelli di Pizzo (dove il tartufo è davvero artigianale e cremoso), il responsabile replica che "questo è quello di Chocolat, non di Pizzo". Bene, allora non chiamatelo tartufo! Il dolce, completamente immangiabile, lo lascio lì. Alla cassa, nessuno si interessa minimamente del disservizio e mi viene comunque addebitato l'importo pieno. Esperienza pessima, da non ripetere. Servizio scadente, qualità del prodotto inaccettabile, totale mancanza di attenzione verso il cliente. Sconsiglio vivamente.

07/04/2025: Ho ordinato una torta per un primo compleanno e alla consegna mi rendo conto che qualcosa nella confezione si muoveva. Torno indietro e chi mi ha servito mi risponde che non era successo assolutamente nulla e che comunque se qualcosa si fosse staccato "lo riattaccare con le mani signó", testuali parole. Faccio notare anche che avevamo pattuito una seconda torta per raggiungere la pezzatura richiesta per il numero di invitati indicato, ma questa seconda torta non c'è "evidentemente hanno fatto diversamente". Pago effettivamente per il numero di kg richiesti (da preventivo), escluso lavoro di decorazione e polistirolo. Aperta la torta mi rendo conto che la cosa che sentivo rotolare era una decorazione che cadendo aveva determinato uno squarcio in piena vista e che ho dovuto riparare personalmente ma la cosa più triste è stata scoprire che la torta è bastata a malapena per la metà dei commensali. Contattati, la risposta è stata "non so cosa sia successo, l'avranno fatta da 2 kg e forse l'altra è rimasta qua". Mai una volta è stata pronunciata le parole "ci dispiace" e nonostante insistenza nel verificare non ho avuto alcuna risposta. Ho pagato per una cosa non ricevuta e ho fatto una pessima figura su più fronti, come si chiama questa?

09/09/2024: Sicuramente il Bar migliore di Cirò Marina. Ottima qualità della pasticceria, cornetti alla crema enormi con crema ottima e abbondante ed a un prezzo irrisorio (€ 1.30). Il grosso problema del bar è che ha personale insufficiente a gestire la numerosissima clientela (evidentemente è molto conosciuto) e quindi i tavoli restano sporchi e le attese si prolungano nonostante gli sforzi dei ragazzi che non si fermano mai. Su questo c'è parecchio da migliorare e occhio che non si può vivere di rendita all'infinito

27/08/2024: Servizio pessimo e sporco , per prendere una prenotazione aspetti più di mezz'ora, cornetti alla crema nella media, caffè pessimo, brioches con gelato pessimo che dire non ho niente da aggiungere
