09/12/2024: Excellent food, both sweet and savory (absolutely try their dinner aperitifs, delicious and at a great price!). The place is nice, welcoming and clean. The staff is friendly and professional, and the service is quick. What can I say, it's definitely a place I highly recommend!

25/11/2024: The hard rock (the name is already very cool) is divided into two locations: pizzeria and bar. We had breakfast there two days in a row. Excellent welcome, super friendly girl, delicious croissants and cappuccino for honest prices. If I were to return to Roccamorice, I would happily return!

15/09/2024: After the walk to the hermitage, we needed a break. I can say very little about the food, because we had two beers accompanied by a basket of bagged chips. The four stars are all for the name (undoubtedly coined by a marketing genius) and for the service (young and friendly waiter and bartender).

23/12/2024: We were super surprised by the service and the quality of the food, the kindness and the quantity of food, even ordering a starter of hot and cold seafood which in any place you pay double what they charge here with half the quality and amount. I also went to look at some reviews to understand where the low ratings came from and I realize how much people don't understand the difficulty of having such a business with such a good quality-price ratio. If you don't want to pay even less, there's McDonald's in front 🙋🏻‍♀️

08/12/2024: I always like to go to this restaurant, especially in summer. This time I was there in December and therefore inside. Everything is always very good, plentiful and served with care. The staff were polite and always smiling. The owner remembers everyone and never fails to come to the table to say hello. If I have to find a flaw, I would say that the tables should be set with a nice classy tablecloth like the restaurant and not with placemats which I find very fast-food.

24/12/2024: This year, returning to Pescara for Christmas (after 20 years away), also meant one thing for me: a real fish soup. I had heard a thousand rumors about La Murena: "If he likes you, you eat like God, if not, you make do." And instead: perfect experience. A young waiter, with rare sincerity, stopped us immediately when we asked for a hot-cold appetizer and two fish broths, advising us to only take an appetizer and a broth. We ate everything without waste and without bursting (and there was also some broth left over for tomorrow). The broth and also all the cold and hot appetizers were crazy. Fresh, fragrant, tasty fish, with a sauce that makes you want to drink directly from the plate. And this applies to everything: authentic dishes, without frills, without that fake elegance of a "cool Michelin" restaurant. The staff is genuine, direct, never intrusive. Here the fish is the absolute protagonist and you can feel it. So, if you are looking for sincere cuisine, done well and without mockery, La Murena is the right place. Highly recommended.

23/12/2024: I went there for lunch with my sister; we both had SERIOUS FOOD POISONING due to the very poor quality of the fish served (or the method of preserving the fish). Absolutely not worth even one star, avoid!

19/10/2024: Hidden gem in the medieval town of Tocco da Casauria. After a couple of magical steps you get in a place that looks like a good old gnarly leprechaun aged very well. Have a seat and just relax drinking chilled beers, spirits and eating delicious oversized burgers and out of the world chips... The pistachio ones are worth the travel.

01/01/2025: All very good and very fresh fish... the only flaw that you might like... they use a lot of oil in the condiments... it's obviously a matter of personal taste. But maybe they could save some 😝

10/11/2024: Tried on Easter 24th I would like to pay a huge compliment to all the staff including the kitchen for the excellent meal and courtesy they were able to offer us. Unfortunately I'm not from the area but at the first opportunity it will be our point of reference

24/11/2024: Una vera gioia per il palato! Questa pasticceria è un piccolo angolo di paradiso: tutto è delizioso e preparato con cura. Il personale è di una gentilezza unica, sempre sorridente e pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. La qualità dei prodotti si percepisce al primo assaggio, dai dolci più tradizionali alle creazioni più moderne. È impossibile uscire senza un sorriso e un dolcetto in mano. Assolutamente consigliata!

10/11/2024: Delicious pastry shop! I go there often and we also get several cakes for various occasions, everything is excellent from the pastries to the cakes (the berry chantilly cream one is delicious 🤩🤤) on weekends there are a lot of people there, highly recommended!

29/12/2024: The lady at the counter was obviously annoyed... we wouldn't even have gone to knock on the house! We ordered a hot chocolate... a mess of hot water and cocoa arrived!

26/12/2024: The dear ice cream shop from when we were young. If it is still there it is because it is and has always been a guarantee on everything. Recommended.

08/10/2024: Excellent food quality, service and environment the same. Fish has a higher cost as a raw material. Now, it's okay that I took a menu, but in the first one the weight of the pasta can be increased as well as that of the bread, no one dies. And then finally half a liter of bulk wine at 5 euros is a bit exaggerated.
