20/08/2026: We were in Aosta on vacation and needed a restaurant that catered to gluten and lactose intolerance, so we stumbled upon this restaurant in the city center.
Let me start by saying that we've always ordered takeout. We give it 5 stars both for the quality of the food (various gluten-free pizzas and a gluten-free stew with polenta).
We also have to thank them for their willingness to prepare plain rice when, unfortunately, we had health issues (other restaurants we contacted said it wasn't possible).
We highly recommend it! And if we're ever in Aosta again, we'll definitely visit them again for both the friendliness of the staff and the food.

03/06/2026: Very nice hotel, both inside and out... very clean and comfortable rooms, excellent service from all the staff, and something you don't often find, waiters who open the exit door for you... really rare to find... very convenient location for the slopes and the skyway... perhaps the only flaw is the road signs to get there... Entering the town there are two signs, but using the first with a slightly larger car you won't get through so it's better to use the second one going up a little higher and it's definitely easier...
13/04/2026: Wonderful stay, welcoming and friendly staff. The hotel is tastefully decorated and very well maintained. We had excellent dinner and breakfast was delicious.

12/08/2026: We had a wonderful meal. Everything was delicious. Large portions. Attentive and friendly service. Good price.
02/08/2026: Excellent experience, delicious food, generous portions, and friendly wait staff.
The baked sea bream was enormous, perfectly cooked, and served with a generous mixed vegetable side dish. Extremely good value for money for three people.

08/09/2024: Abbiamo passato 15 giorni a Gressoney questa estate apprezzando i paesaggi del monte Rosa e le passeggiate nei boschi e lungo il Lys.
Ma alla Trinite' dopo una di queste impegnative camminate il premio ( medaglia d'oro) è stato un piatto di tagliolini con i porcini mangiato al ristorante dell' hotel Lo Scoiattolo seguito da un dolce al cucchiaio a base di mirtilli caldi. Il tutto innaffiato da un ottimo rosato del territorio.
Essendo tornati in questo albergo dopo 30 anni lo abbiamo trovato non solo ampliato e ristrutturato in maniera pregevole ma anche accogliente come nel passato da parte della proprietaria Laura nel solco della tradizione alberghiera della famiglia Thedy.
Assolutamente consigliato.

08/12/2024: Attirati dalla posizione e dagli addobbi natalizi abbiamo deciso di entrare e pranzare nel ristorante dell’hotel hotel o meglio al Bistot.
Ambiente carino e curato.
Abbiamo preso 5 piatti
Due antipasti e tre secondi
Presentati anche molto bene
Peccato che stra salati , sapore stucchevole quasi nauseante di formaggio
Sapore che copre tutto il resto è al terzo cucchiaio ha già stancato.
Per accompagnare avevo chiesto un calice di champagne chiedendo la lista dei vini , ma hanno risposto che quelli al calice cambiano ogni giorno , quindi non lo avevano.
Mi viene servito uno dei mei preferiti
