04/09/2025: Really enjoyed our evening here. The food was delicious and there was a good menu with good choices. The staff was extremely helpful, friendly and professional. The wine recommendation was very good and we enjoyed the wine. We returned 2 days later and had the same wonderful experience. Sadly we must return home so cannot return to Matisse but would highly recommend it. Grazie.
03/09/2025: My roots are in Salento, but I live in the north, and every summer I can't leave without dining at Matisse. It never disappoints; everything is perfect, with a menu that's meticulously crafted in both quality and presentation. The staff is professional and attentive. They never disappoint; every time it's a pleasant and tasty discovery. Well done.

11/08/2025: We tried the RESTAURANT section. It was a wonderful experience. The location was clean, well-maintained, and very elegant. The staff were truly kind and welcoming. Prices were average, but the food was truly exceptional. Highly recommended!

10/07/2025: I used the Class Party group's service for my birthday celebrations, and the service was impeccable: the staff was extremely professional, accommodating to every request and courteous to the customer. The value for money was excellent, as the service allowed the customer to enjoy the event without having to worry about anything. Furthermore, the Class Party group paid particular attention to cleanliness and order.

I won't add anything else.
The service: the waiters are kind and helpful, but it's unpleasant to have to wait several minutes for all the dishes to arrive. It would be nice to be able to start eating together.
Unfortunately, it's not worth a second visit.

28/08/2025: A place that immediately wins you over: delicious food, friendly and always smiling staff, and a light-hearted atmosphere that makes you feel on vacation even though you're at home. Not only do you eat well here, you feel truly at home: you laugh, chat, and relax.
It's truly one of those restaurants that makes you say, "Okay, I absolutely have to go back!"
26/08/2025: A pleasant restaurant where you can also eat outside. The pizza is good, wood-fired and with unique flavors.
The wait is reasonable and the service is courteous.
Updated 2025. I confirm, in fact, it's improved.

Take the bus and 10 minutes later you'll be in the center of the old town.
Very welcoming staff.
Very good dinner.
05/09/2025: We returned after a while... the staff was always very friendly, professional... waiting... helpful... Alessandro's smile was contagious... we regret not mentioning the names of the other receptionists... however, our total respect and thanks go to them... any problems that arise are all resolved... a round of applause goes to the cleaning staff and the staff who welcome us in the morning for breakfast... the hotel is in a strategic location... close to the ring road... close to the center... nearby there are department stores... Eurospin... Lidel... Terranova... Tigotà... a hotel that offers all the comforts... parking... and restaurant service.... a great place... we are happy to be back... we greet you all with warmth and respect.... Daniela and Giuseppe

22/04/2025: La camarera era muy amable y la comida era sabrosa (un poco fría) sin embargo:
Sirvieron un plato antes que todos los demás, luego sirvieron a otras tres personas y se olvidaron de un plato más. A la hora de pagar (les he pedido que cancelen el plato restante) , me pidieron que fuera al mostrador y esperara allí unos minutos antes de que alguien se fijara en mí.
Y por supuesto que me cobraron 6 € por el servicio.
20/04/2025: Abbiamo deciso di fare un aperitivo classico da dividere in due perché non avevamo molta fame. Veramente terribile il servizio perché abbiamo aspettato 20 minuti per niente. Questo perché non avevamo fame e il cameriere ci ha detto che non potevamo prendere solo un aperitivo e una bottiglia di acqua.

04/09/2025: We recently had lunch at the lido. The staff was kind and attentive. As I usually do, before sitting down, I asked the gentleman at the cashier, and he told me to ask the waitress, who kindly showed us to our table. We had a salmon salad and two salmon sandwiches. The sandwiches, in my opinion, could use a bit more polish, which is why I'm giving them four stars instead of five.
The prices are in line with what I usually pay in my hometown; I only paid one euro for the cover charge.
We'll definitely be back.
03/09/2025: Front row: €70 for three lounge chairs and an umbrella. Second row: €50, third row: €35. The place is nice, but it's worth renting an umbrella; the public beach is always crowded. I've been coming here for a few years... Cala Marin offers a bar and hot food.

05/07/2025: The masseria is a real gem in the heart of Salento, looked after with great care by the owner, Mr. Barone and the staff. Excellent breakfast with all dairy products from the family business and sweets from Apulian patisserie. Very convenient location to reach the most beautiful beaches of Salento!! Gallipoli is close by and can be reached with the bicycles made available...
24/06/2025: Siamo stati per 3 giorni alloggiati alla masseria del Sig. Barone..persona eccellente con una cultura superiore che ti spiega e dà consigli sul dove andare e mangiare..poi Riccardo il fido braccio destro che ti coccola in tutto e al mattino di fa assaggiare le mozzarelle di bufala e la ricotta tiepida con confettura..location assolutamente da provare per la pulizia assoluta..per gentilezza..per i profumi..ci torneremo!!!
