04/06/2025: Honestly, I never expected to have to write all this, but a wedding is an important day that you dream about all your life and it is planned down to the smallest details. I can't say anything about the food, which was truly excellent, about the maitre's willingness to quickly resolve a mix-up about the type of menu, and the location, which is truly spectacular, but I must admit that I'm not at all satisfied with how the final part of the party went, in particular, as our requests and, above all, the word given and signed in the program for the day were not met. My husband and I found ourselves cutting the cake that wasn't like the one we requested, we had chosen the swing (particular and elegant, chosen precisely because it isn't seen in other locations, I had to have a custom cake made precisely because of the width of the swing) but this choice of ours was not respected and so I found myself cutting the cake that we absolutely didn't like and that unfortunately marked the emotion of the moment. I continue to say that even with regards to the confetti and wedding favors corner, the program was not respected and the timing was not respected as everything had to be set up for the opening of the sweet and fruit buffet instead I found myself having to call for the wedding favors because people were starting to leave and the confetti was set up once half the people had left the ceremony and therefore the next day I had to take all the confetti home not knowing what to do with them and after having spent money to buy them. I also advise the maitre d' to invite the waiters once lunch is over to tell the guests that for coffee and liqueurs they can sit at the bar outside because some of our guests were unable to use it without knowing it was there and others used it only because they saw people at the bar having coffee and asked, and once they start clearing the tables to look carefully at what is on them because we personally made the cards with the instant photos and they were left on the tables when the party was not yet completely over as there was dancing after the cake, and the waiters thought it best to throw them away, so once the guests realized this we had to ask for them and obviously they recovered them from among all the dirty tablecloths and the cards with the photos were brought back to us practically wet. As a final complaint that I must say I found highly annoying was that of not communicating the opening of the open bar and therefore none of my guests knowing about this service took advantage of it, obviously a service that is separate from that which concerns the entire lunch. So I am really sorry to admit that unfortunately for what is listed above this was not the wedding that my husband and I had dreamed of.
