Traditional dishes, the common thread is goose cooked in many ways.
I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, a very affable and classy person.
I highly recommend.
06/04/2025: Starters of duck roast beef and asparagus pudding. Then Tajarin with asparagus and to finish rice pudding. Bonarda red wine.

At any time, a table is not denied to you (well, the kitchen closes at 10:30 pm)
Excellent pizza... excellent cuisine!
Very fast service, very kind... quiet environment.

Too bad that the people of Vigevano are prejudiced and prefer to go and eat mediocre food instead of exploring the territory.....
We will definitely be back.

14/04/2025: I took 2 dishes (risotto with pumpkin, pork with senape); both are really tasty; we all took the second round of the risotto.
13/04/2025: I have been to Locanda del Carmine for dinner several times and each time it has been a confirmation of the quality and goodness of the dishes, even the vegan ones.
In particular, I would recommend the desserts, which always manage to amaze me!

02/05/2025: We came here today and had a great time... The pizza "risen naturally", like our stomachs after eating it!! It became a balloon!
Still good, however I recommend adding Vegan 🌱 or lactose-free alternatives nowadays, because apart from a delicious cake, as an intolerant pizza, I can't fully appreciate anything: mozzarella combines the ingredients!
I recommend you update yourself on this!
Nice little place and the two waiters who served us were courteous 🩷🌿
30/04/2025: Pizza? No! Bread drowned in what they call "fiordilatte" but which is actually a cream cheese. Otherwise the service is good and the ingredients are generally good, but the environment is very cramped. The sweets make up for it.

Dinner was excellent, delicious and typical local dishes.
Impeccable service and great availability from the owner.
We will definitely be back.

25/04/2025: Elegant setting overlooking the beautiful city square (also has tables outside). Nice and tasty dishes, adequate quantities. Quick and very friendly service. The warm seafood salad with Taggiasca olives, braised beef cheeks, cutlet and apple strudel are excellent.

22/02/2025: Buongiorno , dopo alcune cene in ristoranti a pavia e dintorni , sono stato a carbonara da chierico e , mi sono trovato finalmente bene ! Davvero tutti i piatti ottimi e gentilezza assoluta , ritorneremo sicuramente
25/11/2024: Il proprietario all'ingresso trasmette impressione positiva, al momento delle ordinazioni manifesta un atteggiamento ostile tale da spargere tensione alla tavolata solo al suo passaggio.
Zero empatia con noi clienti, persone abituate a mangiar fuori per lavoro.
Portate ricercate, ampia scelta, incidente con un riso (piatto tipico della zona) particolarmente salato. Il rapporto qualità prezzo è accettabile ma l'arroganza manifestata impedisce di consigliarlo.

04/01/2025: Hamburger con fassona..svizzera cotta male, mezza bruciata, sapore insipido, niente di speciale al palato. 14€ per un hamburger occorre fornire un panino all'altezza.
04/08/2024: Calda sera d'agosto: all'interno del locale, la piacevole frescura dell'impianto di climatizzazione, ma pure un gran vociare ed un frastuono imbarazzante, tali da rendere impossibile persino il semplice colloquio.
Bevande in tempo record, lunga attesa per i panini, però ripagata dalla bontà degli stessi.
Prezzo nella norma.
