12/01/2025: Excellent traditional Eritrean/Ethiopian dishes, modest but clean place, courteous service. The only small flaw: when we asked for a glass of "prosecco" we were brought a small glass and NOT of prosecco but upon request we were told that it was the house prosecco. I still have doubts.

05/08/2024: At the Senafe restaurant you eat divinely, the food is shared, broken and eaten with your hands The place is simple and clean, with beautiful ethnic paintings and Ethiopian music In the summer there are also a couple of outdoor tables The atmosphere is very familiar, it feels like home Senafe doesn't want to be a pan-African restaurant, where you can find everything from couscous to gatsby; the cuisine of the Horn of Africa is truly exquisite and is worth enjoying by focusing on Ethiopian and Eritrean dishes We had a round of vegetarian appetizers and then a large tray of Meadi, African beer and cardamom coffee to close the dinner We will definitely be back

26/07/2024: I already knew this restaurant, a stone's throw from my house, in the heart of the Eritrean neighborhood of Bologna. Very relaxing atmosphere (I recommend the outdoor veranda in summer), excellent food, beautifully explained by the staff, impeccable service. Spicy lovers like me will find satisfaction. Wide availability of street parking (we are in Bolognina), options available for different diets. Highly recommended.
