24/08/2025: We had lunch today with a full house and a bit of excessive shouting, but there's little you can do about it.
The food was good, although I would have removed the spaghetti with meatballs from the water sooner. The food was regional, with typical local products. The service was quick and friendly, and the atmosphere was absolutely superb, with the mountains right in front of us as a backdrop.

12/07/2025: Here's one of those places you don't expect, partly due to your ignorance, partly because perhaps, as often happens in Italy, cultural heritage isn't given the due prominence. A charming piece of majolica history, explained with great clarity and charm by Fabrizio, who accompanied and guided us through the museum.
It's definitely worth a visit if you come to Castelli!

06/09/2025: Ristorante da Iolanda is a delicacy of home-made food that you absolutely must try. Starting with the appetizers, of course, and continuing with the homemade maltagliati (a type of pasta) known as TACCONELLE (a type of pasta made with Gran Sasso herbs), the grilled lamb, the garden side dishes, the cheeses, and "our wine," as Mr. Peppino calls it. Everything is top-notch, including the desserts, which are homemade, of course.

15/02/2025: Noi ci facciamo 100 km per venire a mangiare qui… un posto dove il tempo si è fermato e dove la tradizione è di casa. Cibo ottimo, un baccalà sapientemente preparato in tutte le salse, l’ultima scoperta anche in carpaccio ❤️ solo un grande grazie alle ragazze che lo gestiscono. Come dire: la passione paga! Continuate così siete uniche! Ci vediamo presto ♥️

30/04/2025: Di passaggio in occasione del 25 apr., per i primi devo dire che erano abbastanza gustosi, i secondi scarsi come quantità , vino quasi imbevibile.
Prezzo caro per quanto consumato e senza scontrino, Pos non funzionante 😉!!
Rispetto a qualche anno fa è cambiato in negativo.
24/04/2025: Cibo genuino locale, assolutamente squisito. Una piccola locanda nel centro del bellissimo borgo di Castelli. Uno di queli posti dove bisogna ristorarsi se ci ci trova in zona.

30/09/2024: Località ridente di fronte al Gran Sasso è ideale per vacanza e fine settimana per chi ama tranquillità e montagna per escursioni o sciare d'inverno nelle vicinanze dei diversi impianti. Per la cucina i gestori Alessandra e Mauro si deliziato a preparare ottime colazioni fatte in casa e per cena con un'ottima pizza di qualità e altro.Settimana passata benissimo da ritornare.
