15/03/2026: Family lunch at this wonderful panoramic restaurant. Abundant cold and hot appetizers featuring typical local ingredients. Excellent first courses, such as walnut and truffle ravioli, homemade fettuccine with mushrooms and truffle, and chitarrina pasta with ragù. We were full, so we opted for a few second courses, but the mixed roast was excellent.
21/02/2026: I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant: simple, authentic dishes, and therefore very tasty. Special attention is paid to the freshness of the ingredients and to food intolerances and allergies. The owner is a very friendly person who truly represents his restaurant. I will gladly return.

During our vacation in Pizzoferrato, we dined at Locanda Italia, and we were thrilled! We dined there for several days, trying different and always delicious dishes. From the tender and juicy veal steak to the perfectly creamy carbonara to the roasted cow's milk cheese, each dish was a true discovery of authentic flavors.
The sagnette with beans and sausage, a typical Abruzzo dish prepared with great care, and the pasta all'arrabbiata with its bold yet balanced flavor were unforgettable. All this was accompanied by an excellent house wine that enhanced every course.
Welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and a warm atmosphere. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!

06/01/2025: Andateci solo se amate la cucina abruzzese e il buon cibo, il servizio eccellente e la cordialità.
Siamo stati in famiglia domenica 5 gennaio, cibo strepitoso, la loro sopressata migliore d'Italia, gentilezza e simpatia.
Ci torneremo assolutamente per Pasqua, se passate da Pizzoferrato non mancate, non ve ne pentirete.
04/01/2025: Abbiamo apprezzato i prodotti tipici e genuini ma in particolare abbiamo apprezzato i ravioloni fatti in casa con ricotta locale e zafferano di Pizzoferrato con sbriciolata di noci.
Ottima la polenta di farro con macinato di salsiccia fatta in casa.
Per finire varietà di dolci fatti in casa.
Ci torneremo, ne vale veramente la pena, ve lo consiglio, non perdete questa occasione.

06/01/2025: Siamo rimasti molto delusi da questo ristorante. L'arredamento è rimasto bloccato negli anni '80 e l'atmosfera è decisamente datata. Il cibo è presentato come casereccio ma il sugo del primo era bruciato e il sapore complessivo era deludente. Abbiamo atteso a lungo per ordinare e ancora di più per essere serviti. I prezzi sono eccessivi, soprattutto considerando la qualità e la quantità delle porzioni. Gli antipasti all'italiana erano miseri e il vino della casa era imbevibile. A un conto già salato (217€ per 8 persone), è stata aggiunta una bottiglia d'acqua non richiesta e, cosa ancora più grave, non è stato emesso lo scontrino. Anche il dolce della casa, una pasticceria secca, non ha soddisfatto le nostre aspettative. Sconsigliamo vivamente questo locale

04/11/2024: FREQUENTO QUESTO RISTORANTE DA TANTO TEMPO, AVENDO UNA CASA PER LE VACANZE IN MONTAGNA, E SONO SEMPRE RIMASTO MOLTO SODDISFATTO. IN PARTICOLARE IL SERVIZIO EFFICIENTE, VELOCE E SOPRATTUTTO MOLTO CORDIALE.
GLI ANTIPASTI SONO SEMPRE DIVERSI E MOLTO GUSTOSI. LE CARNI SEMPRE PERFETTAMENTE CUCINATE. LO CONSIGLIO PER COLORO CHE APPREZZANO LA CUCINA ABRUZZESE DI MONTAGNA.
17/08/2024: Location molto carina e suggestiva, peccato per alcuni dettagli xome gli infissibin alluminio che rovinano l'atmosfera di montagna. Servizio mediocre ( non per cameriera e cuoca simpaticissime e cordiali) ma per il proprietario scontroso e antipatico, per la totale assenza di un menù ( anche giornaliero) con chiara indicazione dei prezzi. Per cui sul conto finale c'è " la sorpresa " a simpatia e antipatia. Riguardo la qualità: molto bene per i contorni, scarsine le porzioni dei piatti principali con saline scepite.
