31/12/2025: A typical trattoria in the upper Abruzzo region, characterized by the customary hospitality and simplicity of its people. Cuisine made with excellent ingredients, expertly prepared by Lucia, who still oversees the creation of the dishes. We feel at home, in the back bar setting, and we are treated like family!
The traditional Abruzzo first courses are handmade...the gnocchi are "turned" one by one...
The roast meat, especially the grilled lamb, is an absolute must for its quality and flavor.

07/12/2025: We visited this restaurant and had a truly pleasant experience. The location is beautiful, with attention to detail and a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at ease right away. The pizza is truly excellent: soft, well-leavened, and made with quality ingredients.
The staff is kind and welcoming, always available without being intrusive. I must also say that my sister was particularly impressed by the waiter, who was very polite and friendly: a detail that made the evening even more enjoyable.
Highly recommended for a relaxing, quality dinner!

24/09/2025: I'm not a young girl, and I've tried many hamburgers from north to south.
But today's was sublime. Donato was welcoming and very good at giving us advice.
The cheese and sausage sandwich my partner had was equally good.

15/03/2025: Un antico monastero affascinante immerso nel verde, abbiamo mangiato più cose, la mia ragazza è rimasta innamorata della pizza, per non parlare della carne, qualità superiore a molti altri ristoranti.
Non da meno lo staff, super accogliente e sempre disponibile per qualsiasi problema!!

06/09/2025: We stayed for three days at the end of August. The location was excellent for exploring and exploring the Peligna Valley, with all its villages—beautiful places unknown to many.
Palena, immersed in natural woodland, is crossed by the clear Aventino River, touches the great and majestic Maiella, and offers views of the Adriatic Sea.
The B&B's structure is "perfect" in every way; it was an excellent stay. Suitable for everyone, young and old, and children. (There's also a good chance of seeing bears in the park, with expert guides.)... Highly recommended.
29/08/2025: Beautiful place, cozy and very clean room. With a view of the mountains and Palena. We stayed only one night with a one-year-old, and they provided a high chair and yogurt for breakfast. We were pleasantly surprised by the attention to detail and the attentiveness to guests. The owner was super kind! We will definitely return and recommend this property!

18/12/2023: Stornelli romani accompagnano cibi dai sapori decisi e delicati. Dopo una cena ti alzi pieno e soddisfatto ma non abbottato. Il personale gentilmente familiare ti mette a proprio agio, facendoti godere quest'esperienza in maniera semplice ed entusiasmante. Vecchi sapori romaneschi che ormai è molto difficile trovare nella Capitale. Se vi trovate a passare per Fiuggi il giro non potrà essere completo se non provate i sapori di questo locale.
Prezzi onestissimi.
09/11/2023: Pizza buonissima birra come sopra,l'ambiente che Ricorda un Pub, cordialissimi ci vado spesso e mi sono sempre trovato benissimo.

11/03/2025: But!!!! We stopped for a quick lunch (we only had an hour, as a break during the guided tour). The poor lady does everything herself and was a bit panicked (three tables occupied).
The bill was definitely TOO high (€37 for a plate of cold cuts, a pasta dish, two desserts, and two coffees and water). And there was no menu, not even a handwritten note... nothing to indicate the price.
The desserts are really good.
It's even hard to review... with a more reasonable price, perhaps.
In general, I wouldn't recommend it for lunch, but it's more than fine for dessert.

25/08/2025: The owner, who I think is a truly wonderful person, was incredibly friendly. The property is beautiful, the breakfast excellent, and the location and parking are excellent.
