We went there after reading other reviews...and we actually had a great time for an aperitif...the service, led by Massimiliano and his colleagues, was perfect. The food was delicious and excellent. When I return to Messina, it will be a regular stop.

An experience worth repeating. The non-alcoholic fruit cocktail was excellent, as were the platters and desserts. The service was prompt, courteous, and efficient.

A place I've been wanting to visit for a while. I showed up without a reservation on a weekday and was greeted by the very friendly staff. I was able to choose a table in the restaurant's very characteristic internal courtyard, nestled between two historic buildings, under a gallery of fairy lights. The food was very good and authentic, the drinks equally good, and the service was consistent and attentive. A small improvement in the food served would be welcome, which, in my opinion, could be slightly improved for aperitifs.

We had a great time... I can only confirm the reputation of this place... Everything was to my liking, starting from the reservation on the phone. Education and courtesy are the masters, quality aperitifs and high-end cocktails... the guy who served us was very kind in giving us advice. My cocktail (gin and tonic) was perfect and I would add that in addition to the advice received, I was also shown the bottle of gin with which it was made. The 321 bottles on display are a sight to behold at the location.

07/08/2025: After two weeks in Taormina, we discovered this hidden gem on our last day and what a wonderful surprise! The warm, welcoming atmosphere created by the kind family who runs the place made us feel right at home. The food was exactly what we needed: comforting and full of flavor. The vegetable soup was absolutely delicious, the lamb cotoletta was tender and perfectly cooked, and the tagliatelle and swordfish rolls were just fantastic. On top of all that, the prices were the best we found in Taormina — great quality without the tourist mark-up. I only wish we had found this place sooner! Highly recommended.
