stars, I'd give them all. I'm from Milan and have been to 10,000 restaurants, but here I truly ate divinely.
Mr. Pasquale is a guarantee, and Zia Teresa, what can I say, is "the Madonna of the kitchen," spectacular.

Last night we had dinner at this enchanting restaurant. It was a beautiful evening with a breathtaking view of Castel dell'Ovo.
High-end cuisine with the freshest ingredients and an excellent array of flavors. The staff was courteous and professional, and despite the busy evening, the food was delivered quickly. The owner was exceptional and professional, making us feel at ease.
If you want to spend an enchanting evening and savor excellent cuisine, I highly recommend it. 👍💯💯💯

I didn't give the food five stars because there's always room for improvement, though in this case, it's hard to improve. The service is impeccable. The atmosphere is elegant and classic, a little folklore doesn't hurt, though I'd advise the singers not to push too hard on customers who don't want them singing near them. Would I go back? I definitely will.

I've been going to Zi Teresa for about 30 years, averaging two visits a year when I return home and we decide to treat ourselves with friends, but unfortunately this time the experience was disappointing. I hate to write this review, but after noticing a decline since last year, I can't ignore it this time.
The first negative sign came with the appetizers: a peppered mussel and a fried fish dish served just two minutes after ordering. Speed in the kitchen is a virtue, but in this case it meant the dishes were already prepared: in fact, both arrived lukewarm, almost verging on cold. The first course also didn't live up to the restaurant's tradition: a decidedly overcooked seafood risotto.
The service was far too rushed. While I was still finishing my meal, a waiter began clearing the table, a gesture I found unprofessional and conveyed an unpleasant feeling of wanting to "clear the table" as quickly as possible.
I understand the pressure of overtourism affecting Naples, but it's a shame to see such a historic restaurant decline in service and attention to detail over the last two years. I sincerely hope the management decides to return to the standards that made it famous for decades, because doing so risks losing even its most loyal customers.

Spectacular location near Castel dell'Ovo, overlooking the marina. Superb, fresh fish cooked to perfection—truly mouth-watering. The seafood appetizers and scialatelli allo scoglio are superb. The pizza and Neapolitan bruschetta are also excellent. Service is prompt and courteous. Prices are slightly above average, but absolutely justified by the quality and location.

Excellent welcome, even without a reservation, shame about the cold calamari, but the spaghetti with clams is sublime 😍, the absence of some dishes marked on the menu does not deserve the fourth or fifth star... shame!
