The chicken and mushroom cutlet sandwich was excellent. I recommend this historic sandwich shop wholeheartedly.

The place, though small, is very welcoming, thanks largely to the cheerful and kind owners and staff. The sandwiches are large, super filling, and generous. The eggplant nuggets are delicious and inviting, with a spicy, aromatic sauce that enhances them. My husband defied gravity with a truly remarkable tower of burgers, broccoli rabe, baked potatoes, and Agerola provola. As a vegetarian, I finally ate a sandwich that wasn't sad! Thank you, highly recommended for an evening of simplicity and flavor.
