Great place for friendly service and fantastic food. We were warmly welcomed and handsomely rewarded with excellent an aubergine parmigiana and a well cooked steak. We were even offered blankets as the evening became cooler. Thanks

We enjoyed a birthday lunch at an outside table at Zest. The service could not have been better. Stefano corrected an issue promptly and was very accommodating.

Porcini Risotto was disappointing - too much oil without good reason . Lunch experience saved by the interesting outdoor seating with a view of Cathedral tower .

We ate here on Saturday evening. Our waiter (presumably the owner) served us very well, attentive but not overly intrusive. The food was delicious. The restaurant is located on a hillside in one of Siena's narrow streets. I can recommend it with a clear conscience!

Nos alojamos en Siena actualmente y por recomendación del propietario de nuestro hotel cenamos en Zest. ¡No podríamos haber sido más felices! Mi marido tenía la lasaña del día (deliciosa) y yo la pasta con la salsa de jabalí. Simplemente delicioso. Nuestro Walter, Maurizio, era tan amable. Sentimos como si estuviéramos comiendo en casa de un amigo. El vino era muy bueno y el tiramisú era el mejor que he probado en toda Italia!

Wundervoller Blick auf den Dom von den Tischen draußen. Touristisch. Sehr netter Kellner. Super Weine. Die Speisen waren gut aber nicht hervorragend. Nicht billig. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

Trattoria La Fornace

28/09/2025: A classic trattoria with two very friendly ladies in the dining room. On a Sunday, we called around 12:30 and there would be a table around 1:30-45. That was enough time for us to arrive. We ordered two first courses: Pici with ragù and lasagna. Both excellent! Then a steak and a mixed grill. The beef tasted like butter. The rest of the grill was very tasty. In the 14 years we've been in Tuscany, one of the best steaks we've had! Even if you're not around the corner, we'll definitely be back. Price: €30 per person. I'd say top notch!
19/09/2025: Very welcoming atmosphere, very kind staff and attentive to every little detail, the food really good, with the grilled meat being of superior quality, we had a great time and I can't wait to go back! 👍😀

Max Food & Music

19/08/2025: If there were more Max Food and Music, the hospitality and restaurant industry would benefit. At Max, the atmosphere is informal, but beautiful, with kindness, friendliness, and professionalism. The food is superb, the location is superb, and the prices are reasonable. I couldn't imagine anything better. We went as a group for my mother's 80th birthday, so we could get a better idea of how the evening went. My mother's words, "The best birthday ever," are significant. Thank you, Max, and all your wonderful staff.
16/08/2025: We're from Rome, and we went to this place last night with some Tuscan friends. The pizza was excellent, and the atmosphere was very nice and informal. Max was excellent and very friendly. We'll definitely be back as soon as we can.
