While looking for a restaurant for dinner, we spontaneously stopped by here. The location, a bit away from the center and nestled in an alley on a hillside, is quite unique. The staff was very friendly, and the pasta was delicious.

Zest was an amazing spot to have a Lunch and enjoy the narrow streets of Siena. It had a great outdoor seating. The workers were very friendly and super informative. I tired shrimp ravioli with truffle, it was an absolute delight. Tiramisu was delicious too.

A nice street; everything slopes downwards. The service was also good. The food, however, was really disappointing. The meat was dry and tasteless. The children's spaghetti tasted like an Olvarit jar.

Excellent location, on a steep street, very lively and with great views. Very close to the Dominican Monastery. We ordered meat lasagna and shrimp ravioli. Both dishes were very good, well prepared, and with quality ingredients. The only flaw is the ravioli dish, which was very limited, just eight pieces. The quantity leaves much to be desired, but that's the only negative aspect.

Nos alojamos en Siena actualmente y por recomendación del propietario de nuestro hotel cenamos en Zest. ¡No podríamos haber sido más felices! Mi marido tenía la lasaña del día (deliciosa) y yo la pasta con la salsa de jabalí. Simplemente delicioso. Nuestro Walter, Maurizio, era tan amable. Sentimos como si estuviéramos comiendo en casa de un amigo. El vino era muy bueno y el tiramisú era el mejor que he probado en toda Italia!

Wundervoller Blick auf den Dom von den Tischen draußen. Touristisch. Sehr netter Kellner. Super Weine. Die Speisen waren gut aber nicht hervorragend. Nicht billig. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

17/08/2025: In Chiusi, an excellent restaurant, Tuscan cuisine at reasonable prices, a quiet atmosphere in the center of town, and kind and friendly staff. Compliments to chef Stefania. When I return to Chiusi, it will be my favorite stop.
16/08/2025: If I could have given it 6 stars, I would have. Everything we ordered was delicious, but my Perugina pizza was amazing. All of this was topped off with fantastic service and Paola's kindness. Thank you so much!

Trattoria Il Cassero

10/07/2025: Located in the historic center of town, we were very impressed by this trattoria. The menu offers a wide selection of traditional Tuscan dishes, some with very imaginative names. Everything is cooked really well, and the staff is very kind and professional, very attentive to what's going on around them. To drink, we ordered their house red wine, and unlike many places where they serve undrinkable wines, their San Giovese was really good. It's a shame we couldn't return to try something else since we were passing through after a hike. I think there's a problem with parking; the restaurant is located in the historic center, which is in a restricted traffic zone (ZTL), which at the time was accessible but with a 30-minute disc. Outside, we only found a two-hour disc zone, so we stayed there. We were in a hurry, and we don't know if there are other options.
