A great place with a perfect view of Piazza Maggiore. The staff was very welcoming and the food arrived pretty quickly. The cotoletta alla Bolognese is definitely worth it, and together with the lasagna, are some of the best I have tasted so far. The prices are a bit on the high end, but there are no unexpected charges, so if the prices on the menu are within your budget, definitely visit it and enjoy some great meals.

We had lunch today, and I have to say it wasn't bad. Not the best restaurant I've been to, but certainly not the worst.
The typical appetizer was cold cuts and cheese, and the tigelle and crescentine were really good. For starters, we tried tortellini in broth, the pasticciati (in my opinion the best) and the fried ones (not my cup of tea). The lasagna and tagliatelle were really good. The atmosphere was welcoming, but a little cramped. The young man who served us was very kind and, I must say, also honest in his choice of desserts (try the tiramisu, it's worth it). All in all, amidst a sea of touristy restaurants, it holds up very well.

We were drawn to this restaurant by its location, practically in the city center. A word of advice: try to arrive early for lunch, as the place isn't very big and there's a high risk of not finding a table.
There were three of us, and we started with a platter: truly delicious and well-stocked. Next, we opted for the first courses: lasagna, tortellini with ragù, and tagliatelle with ragù. The dishes were all delicious, and the portions were just right: neither too large nor too small, the perfect balance between enjoying quality without feeling too heavy. We finished with a truly remarkable tiramisu.
The service deserves a special mention: the staff were very welcoming, and the wait was short; we were served quickly despite the restaurant being busy.
The two downsides are the price, which I think is a bit high. We spent €30 each, without ordering any main courses, wine, or side dishes. It's true that the central location comes at a price, but it's still a significant sum for a meal like this. And secondly (if we want to find the needle in the haystack), the water is served in small plastic bottles, a choice I don't find very eco-friendly (and a bit out of place).

As a first course, tortellini pasticciati, while for my husband, a rare Florentine steak, 1.1 kg, with baked potatoes, 2 glasses of red wine, a still water, coffee, an Amaro del Capo, and to finish, a spoonful of mascarpone with the addition of Fabbri black cherries. Excellent quality of meat, medium-high prices. We will definitely be back for the third time. All the staff are excellent... top.
