Zagara Bar Ristorante In Milano

I'm a Sicilian who lives in Sicily and loves his land, and I ended up here by mistake, at first sight, and in first place, this review comes. VERY GOOD! Congratulations!

Everything was delicious and the portions were generous. The staff was friendly and helpful. Highly recommended.

Good food, but very overpriced. Charging 5€ for tap water (and bringing us a second bottle that we did not ask for and then charging us for it) is abusive. Appetizers, main courses and desserts are all rather good but extremely expensive (3.50€ for a tiny cannolo). Overall, despite the good food, I would not recommend this place unless you are fine paying over 70€ for 2 people, in which case it's a nice restaurant. I would invite the owners to reconsider some of their prices so as to be much more appealing to the wider audience. At this price point it's simply not worth recommending it to your friends despite the good food.

Sicilian cuisine. Welcoming place and tidy atmosphere. We ate well, but the price isn't right. €20 for pasta with clams, €17 for pasta with sardines, €24 for an appetizer with two arancini, some caponata, and some panella (we're not talking cured meats... rice and chickpeas) is way too much. It's a shame, otherwise we'd be back.

One of my favorite restaurants, the dishes are exceptional reinterpretations of Sicilian tradition, they also have an excellent wine selection and the service is fast and friendly, they know how to make you feel at home.

Good food that respects traditional Sicilian cuisine. Relatively quick service. It's a shame that being so close to the kitchen filled us with odors.

Everyone who works there loves their job, and you can feel it. The first courses are delicious and very generous, just like the real Sicilian ones. I would improve the appetizers. :)

It's not the first time we've been there, close to home, 10 minutes walk!

Dinner with friends was fine, but I wasn't entirely sold on it. The arancino wasn't the best because I didn't recognize a real Sicilian arancino, and it broke into crumbs. The pasta was good but nothing exceptional. Still, it was a bit pricey.

A wonderful experience at this excellent restaurant. The Sicilian cuisine is top-quality, delicious dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and meticulous attention to detail. The staff is very friendly, the restaurant is clean and well-kept, and we had lunch in a lovely garden. We ate arancini, panelle, caponata, busiate with Trapani-style pesto, and cassata siciliana, all accompanied by excellent regional wines. And last but not least, the Zibibbo! We'll be back soon!
