Everything was delicious and staff was very nice but there was a complication in bringing our starters which was forgotten. After we reminded and it came they didnt offer to put it on the house.

Great service and food! We got tired of eating lasagna and tagliatelle bolognese - hence we decided to try this cozy Japanese restaurant. The curry and the katsudon are authentic Japanese.

Excellent restaurant. I went there for dinner with my husband and it reminded us of our honeymoon in Japan. I recommend it, the food is excellent.

We visited Yuzuya twice during our stay in Bologna.The restaurant has a cozy and harmonious atmosphere that makes you feel like you’re having a warm meal at home. Both waiters, Mark and Martina were very friendly and spoke good English. (There is a whiteboard with the menu and some doodle from the worker name written)The restaurant isn’t large, but that’s exactly what gives it such a charming and intimate feel. We ordered the Katsu Curry Rice and a Tonkatsu, both of which were very good flavor. The chef even added some local small side dishes that gave a wonderful touch and made the meal even more special. The highlights were definitely the desserts, which, according to Mark, are homemade and truly worth trying. We had the sesame cheesecake and the mochi (not ice mochi) — both were delicious and memorable. A wonderful Japanese restaurant we’ll definitely return to!

Probably the only Japanese-run restaurant in Bologna. High-quality ingredients. Reservations are essential.
