We were very happy to find this restaurant as many others were closed due this off-season time. The restaurant is located in the very center of the town, has lots of dining spaces and is amazingly decorated with dozens of paintings of the Cervino mountain and its related stories and legends. All paintings were painted by the same painter. The food was versatile and good although not too sophisticated as we took mostly the vegeterian.

I was there at the end of August with two other people, my 9-month-old niece, and a dog. I thank the restaurant near the sports field for not allowing my dog, which allowed me to try this magnificent place. They welcomed us into the dining room with the other diners (and there were two other dogs, but they managed to keep the tables far apart, accommodating the need for peace and quiet for all the guests). Beautiful location. ALL the waiters were very friendly and helpful, even with my niece and the dog. Fast service. Truly high-quality food. I tried polenta and pizza. It's been a long time since I've eaten so well. One of the best restaurants I've been to. Prices are in line with other places, but the overall quality is much higher. The place is beautiful, the staff are friendly, the appetizer of Aosta Valley cured meats is average, the pizza with a good crust is good, and the raviolini del plin (a kind of ravioli stuffed with mushroom broth and boiled speck) are almost inedible. We ate them halfway, out of politeness or embarrassment...

We stopped after a bike ride for a drink, but after looking at the menu, we ended up eating something. The lady was very kind and welcoming, also taking into account that cyclists don't like leaving their bikes lying around. She made room for us to park ours next to us on the benches, which was greatly appreciated by my companion and I, who also had a lovely smile. And always hospitable, even though the place was packed, she even thought of our bikes. I wanted ice cream with blueberries, which was served hot and delicious, while my companion had tagliatelle with game ragù, which he even mopped up with bread, they were so good. The price was right for the service and the very good quality of the products. While at a refuge I'd spend €30 for something cheap, if I spend a few euros more and the food is good, it's always money well spent. We'll go up to eat again during the week, certainly for the quality, but also for the excellent service (since we cyclists aren't often popular here, I encourage everyone to stop by). Excellent service, too, from the girl who took our order. Compliments to the staff.
