Io e mia moglie, attratti dal passaparola e da quanto visto sul web, abbiamo deciso di provare per la prima volta questo ristorante. Situato in una zona tranquilla di Gallarate, parcheggio facile in strada, la location colpisce subito, una bella villa dove suonare il campanello per accedere al ristorante: ci apre Andrea, il proprietario insieme a sua moglie Lara (la Chef). Pochi coperti, arredamento decisamente di gusto, tavoli particolari e originali. Optiamo per il percorso degustazione da 7 portate con abbinamento di 7 calici. Andrea ci guida nella serata con savoir faire, svolge il ruolo di maitre e di sommelier e ci colpisce subito l'amore con cui esalta in ogni piatto le doti di sua moglie in cucina. A proposito dei vini, la cantina è ben fornita con etichette molto interessanti, e da appassionato conoscitore dell'argomento devo dire che siamo rimasti decisamente soddisfatti dagli abbinamenti proposti da Andrea, tutti azzeccatissimi. Passiamo al cibo: i panificati proposti in apertura sono senza dubbio i più buoni che abbiamo mai mangiato, scopriremo poi che la Chef Lara viene da una famiglia di fornai e questa provenienza si sente tutta. Il menu si snoda tra le radici siciliane della Chef e forti influenze spagnole e orientali, l'equilibrio dei piatti è sempre curato con precisione e l'umami la fa da padrone. Le tecniche di cottura usate sono molteplici ma non diventano le protagoniste dei piatti, le materie prime sono scelte e trattate con cura e attenzione. Andrea ci pone la scelta tra il finire la cena con un dolce o col carrello dei formaggi: optiamo per quest'ultimo e troviamo delle vere chicche, si coglie anche qui la ricerca per proporre ai clienti qualcosa di speciale. A fine serata abbiamo il piacere di scambiare due chiacchiere con la Chef Lara e si dimostra una persona speciale come i suoi piatti. Il prezzo è commisurato al posto, alle materie prime, alla bravura della Chef e alla cura di ogni dettaglio. La cucina non ha nulla da invidiare ad altri ristoranti che abbiamo provato e che hanno poi preso la stella. Scoperta stupenda, torneremo senza ombra di dubbio.

My wife and I, attracted by word of mouth and what we saw on the web, decided to try this restaurant for the first time. Located in a quiet area of ​​Gallarate, easy parking on the street, the location immediately strikes you, a beautiful villa where you ring the bell to access the restaurant: Andrea, the owner together with his wife Lara (the Chef), opens the door for us. Few seats, decidedly tasteful furnishings, particular and original tables. We opt for the 7-course tasting menu with 7 glasses of wine pairing. Andrea guides us through the evening with savoir faire, plays the role of maitre and sommelier and we are immediately struck by the love with which he enhances his wife's skills in the kitchen in each dish. Speaking of wines, the cellar is well stocked with very interesting labels, and as a passionate connoisseur of the subject I must say that we were definitely satisfied with the pairings proposed by Andrea, all spot on. Let's move on to the food: the baked goods offered at the beginning are without a doubt the best we have ever eaten, we will then discover that Chef Lara comes from a family of bakers and this origin is clearly felt. The menu winds between the Sicilian roots of the Chef and strong Spanish and oriental influences, the balance of the dishes is always taken care of with precision and umami reigns supreme. The cooking techniques used are many but do not become the protagonists of the dishes, the raw materials are chosen and treated with care and attention. Andrea gives us the choice between finishing the dinner with a dessert or with the cheese trolley: we opt for the latter and find some real gems, here too we can see the research to offer customers something special. At the end of the evening we have the pleasure of having a chat with Chef Lara and she proves to be a special person like her dishes. The price is commensurate with the place, the raw materials, the skill of the Chef and the attention to every detail. The cuisine has nothing to envy to other restaurants that we have tried and that have then taken the star. A wonderful discovery, we will return without a shadow of a doubt.

Discovered via app, very intimate and private place, with few seats. Excellent welcome and refined dishes. Not suitable for families. Service a bit slow.

Excellent welcome in an elegant little place. Sober and clean, I went for a working lunch. I ate very well in normal restaurant times but not for business lunches, luckily I wasn't in a hurry. I definitely recommend I will have the opportunity to go and taste the dishes in the evening and understand the type of service, given that I had a good time at midday in the evening I certainly expect something more🙏

31/08/2025: Thin crust pizza...not like the one in Naples...the flavor is pretty good, but I would have preferred it to be more rustic...they all seem a bit similar. High priced, given that we're in Caiello, a hamlet of Gallarate, not Milan.

04/10/2025: We visited here for the first time during an evening with the Mushroom menu, drawn both by the uniqueness of the menu, the restaurant's overall positive reviews, and the attractive price (€25 per person for four courses, excluding drinks and cover charge). The place is charming, simple but verging on elegant. The only downside is that it's really crowded, making it very crowded; the tables are packed together, and it's very hot. The service was consistent throughout the dinner, but at the beginning, they left us at the table without drinks or bread for over half an hour. This definitely needs improvement (there were only 2-3 waiters for the entire restaurant, which was to be expected), and the waiter's cutlery slipped from his hands several times. In any case, they were attentive to some requests made in relation to the scheduled courses, which was appreciated. All the dishes were good, perhaps the only slightly "unimpressive" one was the first course with purple gnocchi. The presentation of the dishes was simple, with generous portions (including the mushrooms, which were the star of the evening).
