As regulars at Michelin-starred restaurants, we always take the time to savor the refined local cuisine. Jose is exceptional here; the Italian cuisine has a Nordic influence. The appetizers are of good quality, though somewhat inconsistent. The main courses are also of varying quality, in my opinion. My favorite was the smoked reindeer steak, simply excellent. The gnocchi were also very tasty.
We didn't have dessert this time but were treated to the final appetizers, which were truly excellent. In the end, the bill is consistent with the fact that this is an exceptional mountain restaurant. My deduction of a star is due to the fact that the quality of the dishes and appetizers wasn't necessarily Michelin-level.

We had high expectation and booked the table in advance (via website). We expected Swedish/Italian fusion. Food was absolutely amazing and the experience definitely unforgettable. Creative combination of flavors, unusual and high quality ingredients. We had à la carte (2 courses and dessert with coffee) plus price included chief starter and chief dessert. I’m pescatarian so the choice was quite limited, but definitely great scallops and smoked salmon ravioli. Dessert was amazing (nori plus salted caramel!) and espresso (speciality coffee) definitely best on earth! Also very solid wine selection. A must if you are in Cervinia!

tl;dr - amazing food, if you're in Cervinia and like fine dining - reserve a spot.
Food - the most important thing in a restaurant, the food was exquisite. Delicious and perfectly cooked. Couldn't ask for more.
Drink - we asked whether there was a juice pairing and were told that there was. We got 4 mocktails, which were really good, but didn't seem to pair with any of the dishes (and there was no obvious intention from the waiting staff to explain how they were paired).
Service - the waiting staff were very kind, prompt and meticulous as you would expect from any Michelin starred restaurant.
Two things that were weird, not taking away from the rating, but still worth a mention -
1. The vegetarian tasting menu is only 5 courses. I ordered the 7 course tasting menu and there were two dishes where my brother just sat and watched me eating. Have a 7 course vegetarian tasting menu, or remove the regular 7 course tasting menu!
2. Another party came in after we were seated that had a dog (which wasn't a service dog). We were not asked whether we were allergic to dogs, or even okay with having dogs in the restaurant (we didn't have a problem, but other people might!). It was odd..

Excellent restaurant with delicious food. Perfect service with one drawback: none of the servers speak French. The price is a bit steep, but the experience is still interesting.

My first time at a Michelin-starred restaurant wasn't just a dinner: it was an experience I'll cherish forever.
My girlfriend and I experienced something I'd only imagined from afar for years. I come from a simple, humble family, where certain luxuries had never been within our reach. Yet, right here in Cervinia, the place where I grew up as a child amidst ski holidays and family memories, I was able to live out a little dream: sitting at a table in a Michelin-starred mountain restaurant, at 2,000 meters, suspended between the sky and snow-capped peaks.
Every dish was a journey: unique combinations, carefully crafted, flavors that told different stories from Italy to Sweden, all the way to the Orient! The glasses of wine we tasted were rare, carefully crafted discoveries—not the classic, well-known bottles but niche ones—harmonies we'll never forget.
But the most intense moment came when we asked for a photo with Chef Amanda Eriksson. Toward the end of dinner, she appeared before us: incredibly empathetic, her aura filling the room. My fiancée, who has struggled with eating disorders in the past, told her what she felt when she tasted a dish. In that moment, a sincere emotion lit up the Chef's eyes, a rare and powerful human connection. It wasn't just cooking anymore: it was sharing, emotion, healing.
Cervinia has always been my refuge, the place that holds my most precious memories. But this evening, in this restaurant that seems suspended between magic and the peak of the Matterhorn, I added a memory that will never fade.
See you soon, Cervinia.
See you soon, Wood.
See you soon, Chef Amanda ❤️

Excellent restaurant in the center of Cervinia. Wanting to try something different in the valley and being lovers of Northern Europe, we decided to try this restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxing and the food is excellent; some dishes really surprised us, like the cappellacci and the tartare. The small pastries are fun and tasty.
We'll be back to try the reindeer, as recommended by the chef.
